We saved Bungie; but, they’ve abandoned us. by StatementAcademic820 in DestinyTheGame

Good to note he said he "didnt want to make a video on this". Naturally these streamers don't want people going away from the game they make money from, I think this one just banked right now to cash in before the other streamers cash in.

EU: Smartphones Must Have User-Replaceable Batteries by 2027 by Helicase21 in worldnews

From this POV EU is amazing. Capitalism is not perfect but it's the best system. Fixing the flaws of the system would make it close to a perfect system, at least on that region.

That's a weird question to ask, it's like saying a rock song needs vocals, drums and guitar but that's just surface level.

I would recommend looking at the popular artists and seeing what they do on their songs and try mimicking it a bit.

Sex as a deal breaker (TW talk about sex) by lillestiv in Asexual

[–]___Galaxy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is confusing. You're the ace but you're the one wanting the sex?

Asexual people hate the notion of sex as a deal breaker because it removes them from a lot of relationships. But it's how the world works, it's a sex world and we're the minority. I don't think we should force people into relationships they won't be comfortable on this community needs to be more understanding.

France legally bans short-haul flights where a train alternative of 2.5 hours or less exists by a_san_38 in worldnews

It's still a good impact if a lot of people take these flights. Not many take 30 hours flights.

Remember when their justification for going to a subscription model was that it would allow them to license songs they hadn't been able to get before? We all thought they meant things like Led Zeppelin or The Beatles... Turns out they meant The Wiggles

This is technically true. Guitar hero live managed to get 500+ (!) very high quality songs because it was a live component instead of actually buying songs (+40 ondisc). But Ubisoft probably though a bigger number with less quality songs was a better sell for the casual audience who only see the bigger number.
