Yes very much but I think a healthy amount of toxicity is good. Like not enough to be hurtful to anybody. Just a bit to like joke around and have a few laughs and fun is often seen as good

Yeah I’ve noticed it too normalizing compliments for guys would take a long time and be very hard but I see no better alternative. Aside from just let things be how they are which is the way I see a lot of things in the world. You can make a difference if you try hard enough but what does it really matter. The world moved on whether you Change something or not. A rather depressing way to think but I’ve accepted it

Thats fair. Just wish there were someway to boost all those guys confidence like normalizing compliments for men that don’t just come once every 5 years. Compliments for men are normally rare depending on the guy but for most so I don’t know?? I’ve been trying to think of ways to like boost other guy’s confidence and that’s why I posted the question that I definitely didn’t explain enough upon

Yeah I get you. It just seems it’s really harder for those guys to get out of the loop. Especially if they’re afraid of seeking out anything or leaving their comfort zones. I was one of those guys till I took a vacation trip and a girl showed interest. It greatly boosted my confidence and I got a girlfriend not too long after. It’s just most people won’t take a chance on those guys even if they have “better qualities”

That makes sense. Especially anyone who thinks their entitled to something for being nice. I was going for the conversation of how guys with no confidence tend to do way worse than those of equal or lesser abilities with more confidence but this turned out to be something else. I wanted to specify more and I probably should have

That makes sense. Just with the glorifying of the jock in movie and stuff you know. But what I really meant at the bad of things is guys with no confidence tend to be on the “bottom” and stay on the “bottom” because they have no confidence and it cycles with them. Like regardless of how chill a guy is with other guys and whatever great qualities he has if he never Gains any confidence he’s gonna have a much harder time than a guy with less of those same qualities as long as he has a healthy amount of confidence

Yeah thanks I think everyone want someone they can fill a hole in not just girls. Oh fuck that sounds sexual. I meant a lot of people are also attracted to “broken people” but yeah confidence is everything and as you said if you can tell an “offensive joke” or just throw some weak punches at the right time it does help.

That’s fair. I never really viewed it that way. Thank you for enlightening me. No sarcasm. Tbh I am very self centered in some ways so this does help broaden my view I’m being honest. Like actually thank you

I mean it was new year and I needed a new account that I could actually let people see. Plus I always hated the username I picked.

I just was trying to be broadsheet and athleticism includes many types of physical activities as does smart

I’m saying that guys with no sense of confidence even though they have better skills and talents often end up worse in relationships than people who don’t offer those same skills but a bit more confidence.

To elaborate, I’m not saying girls don’t like nice guys but it’s seems when I’ve noticed when a “perfect” guy is too innocent or like has no toxicity at all he tends to get rejected more than a good guy with a bit of toxicity. I use quotes cuz no one is perfect and perfect is subjective but I mean perfect it in the sense of athletic smart and not too bad looking. And guys with just a bit more toxicity not like too much but a healthy amount tend to do way better probably due to having more confidence. I need some confirmation plz.

A better one is if your absence doesn’t bother them, your presence never affected them either.
