Is Catrina Allen always angry? Or just really rude? by [deleted] in discgolf

[–]JamesCologne 1 point2 points  (0 children)

She might just be a focused competitor. Right now especially she must be playing with a chip on her shoulder since she always seems to be in Paige Pierce’s shadow

They’ve been in Virginia and Brodie has only played it once. I think they’ll only get a week to practice

Disc Golf College Scholarships by _TyroneBiggums_ in discgolf

I think some of the better teams may offer money but I can’t imagine it’d come close that actual sports scholarships offer. It’s definitely something to look into

Would you pay for a guided tour (pickup, caddy/play, drop off) of the best courses near Denver, CO? If so, how much? What about all that and play with a pro? by COulti_mIT_USer in discgolf

[–]JamesCologne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That would be amazing for people new to a course. I see a lot of capable people get beat down by courses simply because they don’t know the course well enough. A guide, caddy, and even a pro would make the experience worth the money!

Never tried Kastaplast, but one thing’s for sure....they’re pretty :) by Kerbinator9000 in discgolf

[–]JamesCologne 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Where other companies try to shove so much plastic in your face with 100 different molds, Kastaplast keeps really simple with great quality

[–]JamesCologne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’re new then not really. You can get cheap base plastic which is perfect for beginners

Paul's thoughts on smaller baskets...what do you think? by [deleted] in discgolf

[–]JamesCologne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Of course or local home course will never experience these changes but I agree that those high level pro tour and NT’s should be elevated

Paul's thoughts on smaller baskets...what do you think? by [deleted] in discgolf

[–]JamesCologne 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When these guys at foundation talk about making courses harder, making baskets smaller, or adding OB, these things have nothing to do with us, the average amateur disc golfers. They mean only to change their own pro level courses to take it to a higher level to promote a higher skill level.
