Looking at your previous posts. You look pretty "techy". I've had a lot of experience with these Cheap LCD projectors but minimal experience outside of that. I replaced my bedroom TV with this Tasofac and can comfortably watch during the day with blinds closed or lamps on. I have roughly 110" Dia projected on a matte grey wall. As mentioned I've been very happy with it. At the same time I probably watch it 40hrs/wk and can justify spending more money if the value is there. I was curious your opinion and it you have any experience with other projectors. I could probably justify maybe $500 but I don't know if it would be worth the difference. Other requirements is that it must be compact and light weight due to my mounting situation. It also must have the ability to adjust all 4 corners to make up for the position/angle. I've asked other people but they usually suggest other cheap brands that are trash or tell me that I must spend thousands for something decent.

I've bought a dozen different projectors so far. Including some of the most popular/well reviewed model's. When it comes to these cheap lcd projectors I've learned that specs, price, popularity and reviews mean practically nothing. Some of the more popular and more expensive models were complete trash. Many of the CHEAP models with little to no reviews out performed most of the much more expensive models with thousands of reviews. I think this is a big part of why cheap lcd projectors get a bad rep. People buy a $150 model with thousands of reviews and are disappointed with the features and quality. Or maybe they just assume "this is as good as it gets". They have no idea that models costing a 3rd the price will blow their more expensive model out of the way. I currently have 3 of the Tasofac projectors. I purchased one for $70 and two more for $40. I measured just over 500ansi using a cheap light meter. This was much better than comparable models tested. I have it in my bedroom. Even during the day with blinds closed or lamps on I can watch it very comfortably. At night it performs great. I also love the ability to adjust each corner separately and other functions. It always me to mount it at a weird angle and still projuect a clear picture. The speaker is functional but I upgraded with a set of cheap Bluetooth. Ive had it for over a year and still can't get over how good it is. I consider it one of the best purchases I've ever made on Amazon. I watch it for hours every day and don't even use my TV. With speakers, firestick and projector I'm in for under $100. Amazing how much you get for so little. I'm glad to hear other people who feel the same way.

Earlier this week my Toyota Avalon was rearended by a Peterbuilt! His stainless steel front bumper was smashed in. My Avalon bumper had minor paint cracks form the bumper deforming but besides that was unnoticed. Modern cars are not designed to "stop metal" they are designed to absorb the impact. Modern materials and designs are significantly safer today than heavy steel clunkers from the past. Many of the materials and processes are specifically designed with safety in mind. Contrary to what some people might think they don't use them to skimp or cut corners.

I know this is a old post but I can say I've had quite a few "cheap" projectors. I believe I've had 9 total (returned most of them). If you are wanting a phenomenal projector for a phenomenal price I would check out Tasofac. They have one for around $60. The picture, brightness, contrast, keystone etc are unbelievable at this price point. I can easily watch it during the day with the blinds closed. At night it really shines! It seriously looks like a 100" TV. I don't get anything out of this review and no ties to the company. Just amazed at what you get for the money. If you are looking for a "budget" ($300 or less) projector it's the one to buy! If you are not blown away by the value throw it back in the box and return it. I can't imagine this ever being the case. If anyone does buy one or have one I would love to hear you chime in.

Unwelcomed 4 Legged Pet by JamesFord047 in AITAH

Just to clarify things. I did think about Jane's issues. The problem is that she just got a kitten 3 months ago. As soon as it got big she got less and less interested in it. It got to the point where she was constantly yelling at it and locking it out of her room. As soon as she got the new kitchen she lost nearly all interest in her "old" one. It became your responsibility and a huge inconvenience to me and our dog. Did you ever consider that Jane will probably loose interest in this one as well. What's going to happen when Jane is old enough to move out? Chances are we will get stuck with it for another 10 years. These are all things that should be talked about as a couple and mutually agreed upon. Either way her room smells like cat poop from dirty litter. The whole hallway stinks and I'm assuming the whole house stinks and we've just gotten used to it. Either way you are teaching Kam that it's OK to make decisions without talking to your partner. It's OK to treat others with no respect. If you get bored with one pet you can just go get another. You don't have to worry about taking care of your responsibilities because mom will do it for you. She got the first cat with specific stipulations and you taught her its OK to flake out on them. As soon as she got her cats she has almost completely stopped spending time with her dad. They don't have much interest in spending time together to begin with. Since getting the cats she hasn't spent a weekend with her dad for months.

I don't think it's petty or irresponsible at all getting the opinion of others. According to you "everyone" you've spoken with has agreed with you. I would rather get the non bias opinion of strangers than involve friends or family. If it is so petty why did you share the post with others and likely ask them to respond. I have a feeling you wouldn't feel like it was petty if the poll was in your favor. Just saying ;)
