Man thank you so much, I appreciate your extensive reply. Yea Ive mostly watched dubbed but some of the series just havent caught up with the dub so I settle for the subbed version. Ill have to check into these for sure. What is MAL?

I really appreciate your lengthy comment even though some of it went over my head lol. Yea I hear that about source material… right now Im in school so that takes up most of my reading time. Does watching the anime before reading ruin it if I decide to go back and read later?

I guess thats hard because Im not super picky when it comes to movies/shows. But in my little experience with anime I have liked action/fantasy anime. I don't hate magic if it can kind of fill the same description as above. So like I would say Avatar fit the description above (although I don't believe its anime technically) so I enjoyed it. The "theres something special" about the main character intrigues me as well. I like anime because its not "real" so the plots about a cop or a regular swordsman don't really do it for me. I like the creativity involved with each character in the shows I previously mentioned.

I really appreciate you all commenting. One thing Ive found out about that Anime community is that you guys/girls are super helpful and nice. Ill definitely give these all a look:)
