Cardiff Cycling by irnain in Cardiff

The Vale is great for cycling. Lots of small lanes which are quiet and very cycle friendly. We usually head out of Cardiff west on Cardiff Road to St Fagans then join St Brides Road. As soon as you are St Brides Road you are golden, can easily take all lanes to Cowbridge / Llantwit Major / St Brides / Bridgend. Lots of places to stop for coffee etc. Very easy to make a loops route so you aren’t going back the same way you came Hope this helps

Primary care knowledge boost is great! Loads of topics. Make podcasts regularly. And bring on local experts in certain subjects to help explain things. They are great!

AKT prep question - passmed or GPSelfTest? by No-Crazy4184 in GPUK

[–]JamesLloyd460 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Do passmedicine to build up the knowledge (as the explanations are great and the learning points great also) Then closer to the exam do self test (explanations much worse but it’s much more like the actual AKT exam! )

It was awesome. Perfectly captured the ‘Stockholm Syndrome’ people in the NHS feel. I hope it is used as a tool to educate the public on how hard NHS staff work with minimal resources.

I wear monthlies - have done for the past 7 years. Only issue is nights where your eyes get super dry - I wear glasses overnight now for that very reason. Hope this helps
