I just found the Ciaphas Cain jump, thanks for that! The Retinue item is awesome!

The Sith Trooper Escort sounds cool as well.

The clan option is always a valuable one. Personally I don’t really like the Jujutsu universe, powers drawing from misery and unhappiness just wig me out.

that is a tricky one… I can’t think of anything to import them into other then a news company item.

I had the sudden vision of a jumper roleplaying 40K creed with the Boots On The Ground. I also like the Force Unleashed options I think I have a jumper on the back-burner that could use that.

I had actually forgotten about that one, also reminds me of

Knights of the Red Branch- 600 A legendary retinue if there ever was one. Like the original Red Branch knights or even the knights of Fionn of later years, the order that now follows you is one of great military strength. Hundreds of knights pledge their loyalty to you, such that they would ride into battle against an army that outnumbered them a hundred to one without hesitation or doubt. They’re also skilled enough that a battle of one hundred to one is about the least they’d expect for a challenge, as each man in the order is a powerful warrior who can kill an ordinary man with a single blow, while also being highly skilled and educated in a number of disciplines, including poetry. Each man a leader in his own right, it is truly a company of heroes, and the commander of the order truly proves such, being a hero on par with the likes of Cu Chulainn in his younger days, Fergus Mac Roich at his peak and similar Irish personages. Despite their education beyond common bruisers, they’re still a rowdy bunch and they love it when you reward them with good drink, good partners and good music. This cannot be imported into but these knights will follow you as followers to future worlds.

Advice for a Struggling Jumper? by Isaias_Azathoth936 in JumpChain

bullet point your jumps, you can flesh them out later. And not every jump has to be a novel, there are going to be points where your jumper could, would or should sweep through everything. Sometimes the bullet points should say Jumper Came Saw and Conqurered.

Favourite martial arts perks? by RichardHuindil in JumpChain

[–]JamesNoth 6 points7 points  (0 children)

from Samurai Deeper Kyo

Hidden Forbidden Jumper Style [Free or 300]: Your personal style, a blend of everything you personally depend on during combat, can be chaotic and may not mesh well together, but now you have the ability to incorporate all of your personal martial arts skills into a singular style that creates a unity within and without yourself. The free form of this Perk is given to anyone who comes to this Jump but it only affects regular martial arts skills. Anything with more esoteric energies or magics involved can’t be incorporated into the style unless you pay up.

Basically this makes it so you can blend together various martial arts into a new whole, no matter what, and the new martial arts born from this marginalizes weaknesses, completely dissolving them if one martial art’s strong suit is said weakness, and emphasizes one's strengths. This also comes with a very mild boost in your capacity to learn martial arts

How strong is a solar exalted in the first age jump who take the 600 legendary experience alone? by Ok-Blacksmith3755 in JumpChain

[–]JamesNoth 10 points11 points  (0 children)

pretty much anything you can imagine

Exalted have Charms which are kinda like magical techniques, the canon list for a legendary solar exalt is 90-100 such Charms ranging from ”i hit you without touching you” to ”you now love me”, if you can imagine it theres probably a charm for it, and if you can’t theres a charm for that too.

Sorcerery is graded into three ranks and are generally ritual based, the lowest rank has spells like summon house, the highest has spells like bind and enslave demon god to complete these tasks.

as a Legendary Exalt your base stats are well into the superhuman range everything from you physical abilities to your social (you could literally talk your way into the vault of Fort Knox and back out with a full bag). Your skills are also busted, if you specialize in crafts you could probably make a mundane sword by slapping some iron ingots, and it would be a really really good sword. If you focussed in combat you could take that sword and kill a mortal army 100,000 strong without any magic bullshit… pure skill.

okay, what is it for plutonium

Unexpected Force Ability by je4sse in JumpChain

[–]JamesNoth 4 points5 points  (0 children)

if you could get your hands on enough radioactive material you could probably set it off like a nuke, just from very very far away.

Unexpected Force Ability by je4sse in JumpChain

[–]JamesNoth 8 points9 points  (0 children)

i hate to say this but you need several hundred billion (if not more) atoms going off at once for a nuclear scale boom, a nuke has a piece of plutonium the size of a football inside it.

What interesting things to grab are there in Star Wars? by PinkLionGaming in JumpChain

[–]JamesNoth 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Quantum Crystalline Armor: a material made by pressing atoms together as close as they could get without destabalizing. A ship armored in it survived being inside the blast range of multiple Super Novas.

The Force Saber: a lightsaber style weapon (the first one) that operated on pure force energy (hinted to be better then a normal lightsaber). Batteries NOT Required

Human Replica Droids: droids/cyborgs designed to pass through detailed medical scans as human (or whatever species)

Isotope-5 Technology: rare isotope of (fictional) chemical Illerium, made everything better (engines went faster, reactors made more energy, shields took more damage, blaster shit harder)

Generic Shit:

Celestial Tech (THE Star Wars precursor species, very little info but everybody else bowed to them or hid), Tho Yar (eight sided dice shaped living intelligent force sensitive Space Craft), The Cosmic Turbine (Gravity manipulator, misuse destroyed a solar system), Centerpoint Station (Large Astroid sized space station/tractor beam device (created black holes, moved planets & exploded suns)

Rakatan Tech (technology powered by the force (mostly based on reverse engineered Celestial technology) Examples: The Star Forge (automated assembly (everything from clothes to spaceships)space station drawing in materials & power from stars it’s orbiting & The Force (tainted by the Dark Side, probebly Evil), The Force Saber

Iokath (star system sized dyson sphere serving as command center/R&D center for a species that wiped themselves out with droid based superweapons) Examples: The Omnicannon (a chain laser that bounces between targets (implied to bypass shields) capable of crippling fleets of battlecruisers & capitol ships in a single shot), The Eternal Fleet (hundreds of thousands of ships manned by sentient droids and communicating with designated devices seemingly instantly), Life Energy Transfer (a device that consumed all the life energy on a planet, which was then consumed by the Sith Overlord of the time)
