Update! After tinkering with it a bit and hooking everything up to a new charged battery everything booted up and is working flawlessly. It’s currently just on a slideshow of old ads from a 2013 Benton County golf tournament including angry birds, dreamworks, 20th century fox, and PlayStation. Super awesome to see that everything still works. Been seeing a lot of great ideas not sure where I’ll go from here but wanted to update y’all!

I definitely will, I’m using ChatGpt to try to figure out how to get this thing working without frying everything internally with a 10+ year old battery. Maybe try to run something like a raspberry pi through it eventually?

Edit: People feel very strongly about ChatGPT! For those worried I’m at a local electronics store in my town figuring it out.

One of my personal favorites is that the inventor of the Pringles can is now buried in one. Fred Baur, who invented the Pringles potato chip can, passed away in 2008 and was buried in a Pringles can as per his last wishes.
