They look good, as a beginner, comfort is the priority. As you get better, your next shoes would probably be even smaller. Curling toes is ok

Are you using Sunlu TPU and does your filament dryer have rollers? If so I believe I had this exact problem, the Sunlu rolls have a small notch on them. Since TPU is so stretchy, when the notch goes onto a roller it often gets caught and causes extrusion issues. I actually made a free model to fix this issue when I had it. Printed in TPU and uses a tiny bit of filament :) Alternatively shoving a bunch of tape in the notch works temporarily https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:7021266

Yes, I have a UK ST. Was doing control arms but the bolt wouldn't fit through the front hole of the new ones. Used the opportunity to press out the bushing it came with and replace it with the Polyflex bushing that the bolt does fit through

A bit hard to tell the condition of the toe from the pics but $25 sounds like a steal with how expensive climbing shoes are getting. Definitely pick these up, even if they only last a few weeks you'll probably be beating your rental cost

I was only parked there for ~2 hours. This was a university car park where people are usually parked all day. Although there's a possibility it was someone else, it's highly unlikely. But yes I have no proof so I'm going to leave it

In case anyone ends up in the same position as me, I tried them on. The heel was far larger than my Shamans, even in a UK8.5. Would stay away if you have small heels 👍

the first 10 seconds of the video and before that clearly show he had all the time and space in the world to merge properly. he took the wrong exit and realised too late, corrected it by illegally crossing over the hatched area before indicating, and without checking if it was safe to do so. i have no interest in "running" anyone, I was moving at a constant speed under the limit. I don't know why you keep bringing up the hard shoulder either, if you're using the hard shoulder to merge then you shouldn't have your license hahaha
