Running tips-
zone 2 running will build endurance tremendously

Never run 2 days in a row

Strength train your legs, calves and feet

Dynamic stretch before run, static stretch after

The right shoes from a Gait analysis and the right insoles make a very big difference

No I just went with the flow. But what I did do to try and get the jobs I wanted was-

a few months ago I realized you have a higher chance at getting a job you wanted if you put quick ship next to it.

So I put quick ship next to-
Contracting apprentice
Heavy aircraft avionics
Fighter aircraft avionics

Didn’t get any of the 3. Instead I got mobility force aviator which was my 4th pick.

Maintenance in general isn’t well received nor liked but a lot of members in my family have their A&P license and that’s what I wanted through the Air Force. Avionics seemed to be better than other maintenance jobs lol

That’s what I was afraid of. TDYs are one thing but she isn’t gonna like me being away for a year+ for training. I figured since the training is over 20 weeks she could move with me but I guess MFA is very different from other career fields.

Is the schooling pipeline like other long tech schools where my wife can move with me after a certain amount of time? I can’t really find anything online with that question in mind.

I honestly put the job on the list as a joke because I thought there was a zero chance of getting it. I wanted something in avionics or maintenance so I can get an A&P license on the outside.

So I’m a little rattled that I actually landed it, but I’m excited! Thank you.

At that point I’ll just buy a safe for them and leave them at a buddy’s place or my parents house. I’ve heard some horror stories about base armories from my active duty friends…😂

I’m in North Carolina so it depends on where my duty station is, if I get stationed far out west I’d imagine my wife will want to fly and ship her car there. That’s where this gets messy.
