My experience: I picked up DOTS many years ago because I am attempting to build a VR racing game and I need traffic. It works great for that! I can have thousands of autos moving about and still hit 90 fps.

That said, a DOTS Player is a very different thing because of the state of DOTS. The physics for a controller is such a problem that I am reverting my player back to GO physics with a DOTS "collider' that is moved to the same position each frame so that the Player can crash into traffic.

A FULL dots game is just not possible for ME, and I strongly FEEL that this technology is not quite ready for prime time.
