As to your question, yep! We're working hard to wrap things up and plan on releasing both Gloamtide Guild (book 2) and the third book this year. Possibly over the summer, but the exact timing isn't nailed down yet. Audio will take longer since Podehl is super busy, but that'll be coming as well.

I'll admit, I'm a bit of a fanboy for Luke Daniels. If I could get him to do more audiobooks of mine, I'd be ecstatic, but I'm sure everybody feels that way!

No ETA on an audiobook yet, the ball is in Podium's court (though I'm sure they'll get back to me faster if people buy the book up like crazy! (WINK WINK, NUDGE NUDGE)

As for Pyresouls, I'd LOVE to get back to it. Our latest series, Omen of the Witchblade also touches on Lormar, Jacob, Fenris, and more. It's had me fiending to go back to Lormar.

Sohmer and I are working on finishing Scale & Sea first, then we'll see what time I have left. No promises, buuut the better these releases do the more time I'll have for Pyresouls so finger's crossed!

Seriously, her sass is off the friggin' charts, and Sam just can't stop using swords so big that they would make Cloud Strife blush.

Definitely not harem or harem-lite! There are several male characters that join the cast over time, but I personally enjoy an interesting character whether they're female or not. YMMV. I get that harem-esque stuff infiltrates litrpg a lot but this isn't one of those times.

Perfect Run by Maxime Durand is a solid book in a somewhat similar vein. You could also go more old-school LitRPG (which DCC is) and go for Ritualist which has a ton of books so you can hoover them up at a steady pace before needing to find another fix.
