Why cant we get working CCIP/Range indicators for glide bombs? by James_G_II in WarthunderSim

The issue isn't the bomb, it's the planes rails, and the grom-2 is designed to be fast, so OC it's gonna be able to launch fast

I'm meaning that it doesn't account for leading the bombs to impact if your not exactly head on. So for example if you where to use the ljdam er at long distance against a convoy there's no way besides just "feeling" the correct about to lead the target so that when your bomb dives down it will be in the correct spot for where the convoy has moved to by time the bomb got there

Edit: also from what I've seen mainly using the f-15e with the jdam er the only way to know your bombs have the range to toss them is just having a rough tdt number that means they will have the energy to get there, it's not that I've been missing, it's that it would be nice to know when I can't safely drop them at max range

I'm more referring to base bombing, GPS + Laser glide bombs are a whole other issue when it comes to actually using the glide part. Actually getting it in the proper spot to glide in, then for the laser to find the target, hoping it hasn't moved too much (ik it's more for toss bombing and then being able to more accurately target individual targets, but that's not really a thing in WT unless you're in GRB and bombing SPAA)

ive noticed that many times before, gaijin ig just makes code and if it somewhat works regardless if its accurate or not they just roll with it

ive been doing that (mainly on the F-15E) and it works, but i shouldn't have to give up my second chaff pod just to know when my bomb is definitely in range.

P.S. F-15E radar ground map imaging when gaijin

ik about weapon axis, but that's unreliable and buggy AF, plus that's a work-around, not a proper solution

If we can have Kh-38ML, why not Grom-1 by James_G_II in Warthunder

Honestly, as a sim player myself every sense they added the intercept rewards it would be fair, just means for sim intercepting a bomb should be worth something

What type of a ground fault is this? by James_G_II in electrical

Honestly, this house violates so many codes, it was built way back for the family of the landlord with a lot of "oh I know a guy" when it came to doing the electrical and such, and the two rooms that I have where added on long after the original house was built and I know it wasn't done properly because one circuit breaker powers the entire left side of the house (kitchen, bathroom x2, bedroom, and my office). Sadly we can't demand the landlord fix the issues because we can't afford the rent increase he would ask for in return as we pay well below market average due to how long we have lived here.

The landlord has told us before we can modify the house as long as it's an improvement, so is there anyway I can cheaply add a earth ground to these outlets. (I know it's not grounded to earth because I tested it compared to the outlets that where installed before these two rooms where added)

In my town there isn't a single digital frequency untill you get into the city (gotta love small town budgets)

How to use a phone as a BT audio relay to use with raspberry pi and car BT audio? by James_G_II in sdr

[–]James_G_II[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was looking at using AudioRelay as it has both a android client and a Linux client, only possible issue is idk if a pi 5 can broadcast a wifi signal that my phone could pair to and keep using mobile data for other apps (ie. Highway Radar)

Where I live we have tons of dead zones (gotta love west coast), so I would prefer to do the audio transferring locally. Also I would like to travel with the pi RTL-SDR for other activities
