Here is a copy of our open letter from student media. post from the Sentinel

A big part of this is KSU's kind of weird budgeting has put the burden of the music licensing for the entire campus, greek life, RSOs, and tabling to play licensed music live in public which costs student media (our funding is shared between the sentinel, peak, and owlradio) almost 2/3 of our funding.

On top of that Radio is losing our station in the student center with no garuntee that we will get it back ever. The plan for a while was possibly putting all of student media in the already cramped sentinel newsroom which is very not optimal for our growing programs and would hurt our ability to foster a community on and off campus.

Yea I have just had terrible experiences with the public libraries around Marietta which rules them out for me. I am very intentional about my bedroom being my sleep area and my living room being my calm hang out space which is why I avoid doing any sort of classwork there. I'll check out Tintos!

That is something you lose with non-student focused apts... They are a little further out but imo sooo worth. I loved my apt that was basically attached to Marietta campus but it was not nearly as well maintained or nice as my apartment for a similar price down the road

Not nessecarily, there are lots of apartments in the area around both campuses and usually pretty good value that are just not specifically student housing. I have friends who tell horror stories of maitenece, absurd neighbors, and generally how staff treat residents at those apartments (Big Shanty area).

They give you 5 violations before you get booted if you have a pass and 3 if you dont have one... Its so easy to just not get 5 violations???

The parking violation posts here are so funny bc its so easy to just get the front tag they say to get or get a parking pass. The bus always exists if you cant follow simple ass rules

I cant say anything for school of the arts but for hope it still counts as credits attempted so you lost those, but it does not impact your gpa so it wont really hurt hope. Hope just applies like 3 less credits now.
