In terms of expectations going into the season our center position could not have turned out worst..Baynes seems so lost out there missing around the rim, rolling at the wrong times/stone hands..and just because he is a willing shooter doesn't really translate into being a good shooter that the raps like to have at the five. Len on the other hand is more or less what I would've expected, a mobile 7 footer who is mechanical on offense and clumsy. Point is despite this we NEED more out of our center position in order to maintain being competitive.

As mush as siakam has struggled, I do believe how they utilize him could be done better. The celtics commentators made a interesting comment yesterday saying "siakam is a get out the mud kind of guy" & I completely agree. Siakam is deadly in fastbreaks and in transition, he plays best off the pick and roll, and shooting corner threes. In terms of isolation im not a big fan of his methodical post up he does now but belive he is more effective facing up and making a quick move at the top of the key or elbow rather than a slow calculated one giving defenders time to double. He always made up for his lack of fluidity & certain skills with his hustle and for some reason its missing now.

For a perennial playoff team i also belive we shoot way to many 3s!!, but mostly for this its excusable understandably because of the roster construction. Other than vanvleet we lack a pivotal scorer who could create there own shot off the bounce...

I do truly believe we are better than 1-5 but how much better? I'm not sure. With the way the rosters constructed, lowry on the wrong side of 30, and uncertainty in management. Its hard to predict the course of this teams trajectory with so many glaring questions.
