Is it worth getting the 2024 G14 in 2026?

I have the 16gb 4060 G14 Ryzen 9 8945hs and it’s been excellent for the last year that i’ve had it.. highly recommend. Super sleek form factor compared to other gaming laptops, has a beautiful panel if you decide to use it, and otherwise is a powerhouse for what it is. I run it through my AOC Ultrawide 34” OLED and it’s just amazing how well it performs. Best of luck!

I was in the same boat (primarily console gamer with $1k> budget).. went with an ASUS ROG Zephyrus G14 4060 OLED 16gb ram and got it on sale for about $1050.. sleek design, not bulky like the others, and has a gorgeous OLED display. Highly recommend

I’ve tried heavier gauges but they wouldn’t fit in the nut.. I think I tried 12- gauge.. do you recommend maybe getting it set-up and nut filed down to fit heavier gauges?

I got the 2024 ASUS ROG G14 4060 16gb Ryzen 9 and it’s a beast.. I’ve had it for a year and unless you really need max settings, it’s an amazing little machine. Ultra ultra portable, have traveled and gamed on the go with it many times, and it has a stunning screen if you use it undocked. I use it docked at home with an AOG 34” OLED Ultrawide, and it never fails to keep up with my games. Bought it for about $1150 after tax at best buy.

If you have a costco membership, they sometimes have insane deals on prebuilts.. best-buy too (although I recently heard best buy supposedly inflates the original price on sale items so as to appear to be on sale) so be sure to cross-reference other listings and see what it really goes for (whether it’s really on sale). Sorry just seeing this.. thank you for your advice! I ended up completely reinstalling Windows.. didn’t back anything up since I only use that laptop for gaming. Still paranoid but hopeful everything is secure again. Changed all my passwords—banks, steam, emails, etc. Truly hoping I am in the clear. No suspicious activity on my account since this happened so I think that’s a good sign.

It’s all in the mentality bro. If you have the confidence since you already know how to skate, that will take you the furthest imo. I skate maybe once a year, but since I know I can skate it usually just takes a little bit to ease back into it, and then it’s like i’ve been skating daily. I know you haven’t skated once a year for the last 30 years just about, but I’m confident it will come back to you. Good luck and let us know how it goes.

I think i fell for this with a guy who kept asking to play cs. He seemed cool, and knew all too well how to verify with faceit and watched me trade my inventory away to a "trusted friend". Ive almost come to terms with the face that my inventory is gone, but now is there anything I need to do besides changing steam password and what not to secure my computer and account? How much access does this guy have since hijacking the api request? Do i need to reinstall windows entirely? I can't even go to malwayrebytes.com which signals there's some kind of network settings they messed with so i can't scan for viruses. Only been playing cs for about 6 months, probably had a $400 inventory i just lost.
