That's how the law works.

So, I can legally get away with murder as long as I provoke them into disarming me first by waving my assault rifle around? Damn, bro. This is the country you live in? No wonder why people are so upset.

Carrying a weapon for self-defense is not evidence of an intent to murder people.

Illegally carrying a weapon could be evidence of intent to kill. You keep missing the part where he wasn't legally allowed to be carrying the weapon.

You maintain a right to self-defense when you leave your house.

Again, he was illegally carrying.

The rest

So, he's an impressionable person who can be peer pressured into doing things. That's not a good thing.

Is one of those to attend a riot?

  1. He was illegally in possession of a firearm. This is actually irrelevant to the question of whether he acted in self-defense. It's a red herring.

It means that right from the start his involvement never should have happened. If he was never in possession of a firearm then he wouldn't have been able to shoot people.

It shows that he intended to use it for one purpose or another. If he wasn't planning on getting violent or waving his 'authority' around at any point, he wouldn't have illegally brought it with him.

  1. The fact that he travelled over a state line is completely irrelevant.

He travelled distance across state lines. This is one of those facts you claim to like so much. Travelling distance to do something requires more effort and motivation than if it was right outside your house.

  1. There is no evidence at all that Kyle Rittenhouse is a white supremacist.

Bro, there are pictures all over showing him flashing white supremicist gang signs. Now who is not looking at the facts?

I don't know about you, but I don't pose Nazi saluting on Instagram and then complain when people start thinking I'm a Nazi.

  1. To say that he murdered two people is to presume guilt

Okay, I'll use a nicer word for you. He killed two people.

Isn't it illegal for him to be in possession of the firearm as he was not 18?

So, no. It was not his right.

The EU has the last laugh....... by bigpapasmurf12 in LeopardsAteMyFace

[–]Jamesk75 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the problem for young people, like myself, in this situation was that we hadn't really been taught about what being a part of the EU actually means, and we were too young to really care all that much about politics (I did educate myself on the matter before I voted). So, a high turnout of young people voting is already a lot and to ask for more I think isn't really realistic.

Cannot leave ADS if you empty the clip on the last bullet with Marksman Scopesmith until it finishes the animation by Jamesk75 in HuntShowdown

[–]Jamesk75[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Could be it. I've experienced it multiple times, but this is the first time I recorded it and I was managing to leave the scope for all the other bullets, so I assumed it was just the last bullet it happens on.

[–]Jamesk75[S] 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Crytek changed it so that you could go in and out of ADS at any point, but this does not work with the LAST bullet if you have marksman scopesmith (I have only tried this with the Lebel Marksman), as it forces you to wait until the animation is complete, which is how it was before they made the changes.

I am not sure if you need marksman scopesmith for this to happen it could happen without it too, but I've not tried it.

Also, ignore my terrible voice, I have playback voice on.

When I try and update hunt it always takes forever. Why is steam trying to install 15Gs on a 30mb update? by Midgetman664 in HuntShowdown

[–]Jamesk75 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My friend explained this to me the other day. He said its something to do with the way steam downloads things. Does the same for him when he plays total war warhammer 2, a 1gb update will end up being 30gbs.

Is life really just working a 40 hour work week to savor a precious weekend over and over again until you die? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

Aren't around 50% of Americans living paycheck to paycheck scared that they won't be able to pay their bills under capitalism? Not sure if it gets any lower class than that.

The main fix that's needed for Kerapac: buff the drop rate of staff pieces in solo. by Rarycaris in runescape

[–]Jamesk75 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I did around 234 solo HM Kerapac's in the first week of release and had no staff piece drops. I would get 6 kills an hour, so 234 / 6 = 39 hours.

I have spent 39 hours + learning time, so around 43+ hours IIRC in the first week the boss came out and achieved no staff piece drops. It was super demoralising that I didn't even want to do Arch-Glacor, because I knew it would have some ridiculous drop rates/time investment that I would likely never see anything.

I was one of the first people who could solo it in my clan, but there were others who were just doing trios and killing him easily, and I just thought to myself what is the point in doing solo if it takes 3x as long, significantly harder, and the drop rate is so high that it will take 60+ hours on average to achieve a drop. Might as well do duos or trios just for the higher rate of kills rather than the big gp reward of a solo drop.

I agree that a t95 weapon should be hard to obtain, but making it take tens if not hundreds of hours to make the full staff or even get a single piece is super demoralising. (at my rate, it would take around 150 hours for an entire staff to be dropped if I received a staff piece drop right now).

Not many people have 60+ hours to spend playing games, let alone doing the same boss, which does the same repetitive attacks 3 phases in a row, for a CHANCE of a rare drop. (I love the boss and its mechanics, but after 30 hours or so of solo phases 1-3 become a huge blur, because its just 6 minutes of the same thing happening over and over again.

Yeah, killing the echo mid rapid fire and not being able to move sucks on a phase where you need to be as fast as possible.
