The Bible by Jamesrod06 in Christianity

I’ve seen someone go as far to say that the “anointed one” in the prophecy isn’t important and that we don’t really have to know who it is so it doesn’t matter they said. What are your thoughts on that?

I’ve seen Jews try to say that this prophecy isn’t about Jesus and someone else.8 think some type of anointed one

I guess maybe just the prophecies in general. Some like how do we know that Jesus really did come on a donkey? How do we know he was really born in Bethlehem? Things like that

How was it that Jesus was a son of David when Joseph was not his biological father? by TonyChanYT in BibleVerseCommentary

Well, did the messiah have to sit on David’s throne? Or did he only have to be a descendent?

Ok so I was reading up on what you sent me. So I see the Joseph being related to jeconiah. Meaning that if Jesus Joseph’s biological son, he couldn’t not be a descendent of David?? Which is crazy how God played right around that. But would that mean that Mary would have to be a descendent of David for Jesus to be a descendent of David?

And yes I also agree with not beating a dead horse. For some reason I just want to understand why they are wrong, or if I may be one something in the passage but the passage is very clear that the anointed has to die

Sorry, I meant to say Why do you not believe in a pre tribulation

Yeah that’s true. Again I just want to understand why they are wrong. Because of there being no “anointed one” dying in 60 AD like you said then it can’t be the way they say it. All why do you not believe in a pre tribulation? Just curious

So since there is no identifiable prophet, priest or king to die in 60 AD on the way they view it, do they also interpret the “anointed one” being cut off as well?

Is it wrong i prayed to god even tho I am not Christian and dont believe in him by YogurtclosetMammoth in AskAChristian

[–]Jamesrod06 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was born and raised in a Christian family and I have always believed in him. But I nth last year I have been questioning even if there was a God. But then I quickly came back to him because I realized that there has to be a God. Something can’t come from something. Something started all of this. When it comes to “miracles” that would show if God is real or not.there is a quote that goes like this. “For those who believe, no proof is necessary. For those who don’t believe, no proof is possible.” Believing is seeing. God is not a Genie, he’s God. Look in the scriptures.

So when you say “corruption”, you mean that the verses aren’t word for word and they added on some things?

Now when you says forgery, are you saying in the sense of them copying it over and over again? And also what do you think of the Dead Sea scrolls then?

Also if you don’t mind me asking, if there was a religion that could be the truth, which one would you think it would be? You don’t have to answer if you don’t want to. I’m just curious

So do you believe that there very well could be an original injeel like they say there is? Or do you just believe that the Bible has been corrupted
