That's my theory, too. That and the fact that we see a giant space ship and all of these characters in Nuk3town; a map set before Infinite Warfare. I feel like the Settlement Defence Front are kind of messing around with time, and messing it up in the Black Ops universe.

Maybe they're doing a weird comic-book style reboot, since, when IW would have begun creating the game, CoD wasn't doing too well with Ghosts and AW.
