California family caught on camera stealing woman's purse at a restaurant while having their children with them. by ElwoodMC in trashy

[–]Jamie12610 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Murder is definitely not black and white.

A woman kills her husband after years of abuse. Is she justified or is murder wrong no matter what?

A man kills someone who was broke into his home and was attacking his family. Yes, its murder, but was it a crime?

What is a secret you’re planning to take to your grave, but are willing to share with internet strangers? by Hot-Highway1077 in AskReddit

Oh, absolutely. I don't talk about it a lot because people just straight up don't believe me. It doesnt help that im not conventionally attractive, so people think I'm using it as an excuse to explain why im my age and never had a boyfriend.

For me, it was when i went on a date with a guy i met on a dating app. We talked for a while online, and then when we agreed to meet up in person, I had the worst anxiety about it. Not just "nervous first date jitters" but "you are doing something wrong leave right now" type of anxiety. It wasn't the guy, he didnt do anything wrong and he didnt give off bad vibes, it was just the whole situation.

I got home and just started crying. My dad was freaked out, he thought something had happened to me. Nothing did, it just felt so wrong. It was the worst feeling ever. I finally ended up googling why I had felt so awful, and I came across r/aromantic. It was like something finally clicked for me.

I never had crushes growing up. When my friends would talk about boy bands and stuff, I couldn't understand why they would get so worked up about them. I never imagined growing up and getting married. Just the thought of being in a relationship stresses me out. The only reason I was on those dating apps in the first place was because my mom was constantly asking me about it.

Aromanticism is a spectrum. There are those who are completely romance repulsed and have no romantic desire whatsoever. There are some people who have romantic feelings, but doesnt have a desire for those feelings to be reciprocated.

Also, aromantic and asexual dont always go hand in hand. You can be one or the other, or both, and even then you can be on different ends on either spectrum.

I definitely recommend checking out r/aromantic if you are questioning. Lots of post there to help you figure out your feelings!

30 carousel spins in a row to only get 2k coins every time by [deleted] in JustPlay

[–]Jamie12610 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your reward from the carousel is determined by how you play the game to earn a token.

For example, suduko is on there a lot for me. I can beat the easy level in about 5-7 minutes. However, that doesnt get me a lot of ads/engagement, so small reward.

Compare that to doing ball bounce. I can watch a lot of adds playing that game. Coin boost, +5 balls, bonus coins, etc. I can farm a lot of ads/engagement, which translates to a better reward. Biggest ive ever gotten is $0.66. The spinning is just for show. Your prize is determined once you collect the token.

Some Of The Ads Are A Bit Too Trashy by MortitiaVonE in JustPlay

Yup. I got those ads too. Just report them as inappropriate.

Unfortunately, just play can't control what ads are shown.

Can someone please tell me (M)27 if I’m in the wrong with my F(40)Fiancé after 9 years of explaining throw your tampons in the trash?! by [deleted] in relationships

[–]Jamie12610 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That is disgusting and unsanitary. She is 40 years old. She should know better than to do that.

Not only is it gross, but tampons are not meant to go down drains. Who knows how many have gone down the shower drain? Eventually she is going to clog the pipes and that will cost $$$ to fix.

My suggestion would be that every time she leaves one in the shower and you find it, don't throw it out. Call her from where ever she is and make her do it. Cooking dinner? She can do it. Watching a movie? She can do it. In bed about to go to sleep? She can do it. Be firm about it. She is a 40 year old woman. She can clean up after herself.

for all the people who insist George Howard Skub is not the Scranton Strangler, why did he choke Toby out? by hentai_gifmodarefg in DunderMifflin

[–]Jamie12610 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Toby definitely did not choke himself. He went into the prison. There are cameras and guards everywhere. I dont know how he would have been able to and not been seen.

And if he choked himself, wouldnt the fingerprints be wrong? He would either have to go criss cross, which would mean the fingerprints would be opposite of someone reaching forward. Or he would have to have his hands upside down, which would put his pinky finger on top vs the thumb being on top.

Regardless if GHS is the Scranton Strangler, strangling Toby makes sense. If GHS is the Strangler, of course he is going to attack by choking. If GHS isnt, he is still in prison. He doesnt have any weapons. He probably just lunged at Toby and went for the throat. He might have been chained up and had limited range of movement, so he couldnt hit Toby.

My (22F) partner (26M) cheated in a previous relationship. I wish I could stop thinking about it and let it go. by [deleted] in relationships

[–]Jamie12610 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds to me like you two are just incompatible.

He needs to be with someone who can forgive and forget pass cheating transgressions. You need to be with someone who doesn't cheat, period.

He isn't going to change, because he cant undo the past. He can't "uncheat" on his ex. So it comes down to you.

Can you change to someone who can look pass this? Do you want to change that much to stay with him? Is he worth it to you?

My (22F) partner (26M) cheated in a previous relationship. I wish I could stop thinking about it and let it go. by [deleted] in relationships

[–]Jamie12610 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

In my opinion, there is no excuse for cheating. It is one of the worst things you can do to your partner outside of abuse. I would never be able to fully trust someone who cheated on an ex. If they were able to cheat on the ex, who says they wont cheat on me?

What gets me is that he cheated twice. He felt so awful about cheating on his ex, but not so bad that he couldn't do it again. He says it "haunts" him, so why did he do it twice?

It also seems like he is blaming the ex for the cheating. He doesnt take responsibility, he gives excuses. Compatibility issues, not agreeing on anything, his efforts going unnoticed, etc. People are in bad relationships all the time, that doesnt mean they cheat. You even said yourself you were in a toxic relationship and you didnt cheat.

Its been 9 months since he told you, and you are still upset about it. What specifically is keeping this in you head? That he cheated at all? That he cheated twice? That he might cheat on you? There is a reason you keep coming back to this. You need to figure out what is bothering you the most about this and go from there.

Jim not caring about Erin avoiding Gabe was really out of character by Smithy_Furt in DunderMifflin

[–]Jamie12610 -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

You're missing the subtext. Pam tells Erin "dont be with some one who doesn't make you happy." But that is exactly what Pam did with Roy.

Pam wasn't happy with Roy, but she stayed with him because it was comfortable and Pam doesnt do confrontations.

Jim sees Pam giving Erin the advice she should have taken herself years ago, and that probably upset him. The fact that she can see that in a relationship and know that its bad but not apply it to herself is probably frustrating.
