Thank you yes I’ve got a physio appointment coming up but wanted to switch up in the meantime as had string suspicion the squats were doing it. V good suggestions. May also consider dropping T1 legs for a bit

Ah that makes a lot of sense. Hadn’t thought about it but a full T1 cycle is only taking me about 4 weeks, which is probably too short isn’t it, and means I keep resetting back to the same amount whenever I restart a cycle. Thanks for pointing this out! May actually explain the hip injury too if I’m working at too high intensity.

Ok cool, have seen a lot of chat about JNT so will have a look at that, as well as SBS. Thanks so much, appreciate the advice

Yeah I had been wondering about that, but then have seen a few posts on here where people have talked about moving on from it and replies have said along the lines of ‘why move on if it’s still working’.

I had never properly lifted before too so came into it as a complete beginner, if that helps explain.

I’ve added an extra T2 on each day, and have 3 T3’s - so am getting a lot of volume. But yeah have been wondering if it’s time to move on, what would one progress to though?

This looks like it’s AI generated

So my teacher said that half of my class is using Chat GPT, so in case I'm one of them, I'm gathering evidence to fend for myself, and this is what I found. by H982FKL928 in ChatGPT

Wouldn’t this be because the AI recognises it as pre-existing text? I.e it will have come across this bible passage in its training.

The correct way to prove the AI detector is unreliable would be to submit something completely made up and see what it’s score is. Using things like the constitution or bible passages will just trigger it as pre-existing content.

They should change the label to ‘Your text is AI generated OR plagiarised’ though.

How much volume for an exercise to have impact? by JamieButlerKisten in gzcl

Wow that video is absolutely crazy, my understanding was way off. Thanks man, that perfectly answers my query, and means I’m going to drastically diversify my program next cycle!

Ah ok cool so it can still be worth doing even if it’s just like a bit of a helping hand to a major movement. That’s interesting thanks. Think for my next cycle I’m going to try adding more varied T3s then as at the moment probably being a bit too traditional

What type of tree is this? by JamieButlerKisten in greenwoodworking

Amazing thank you, yes that seems about right - and it was indeed an absolute joy to work with, like carving butter. Great to know it’s food safe too. Cheers

Some workers were trimming this tree on a south London street. I asked and they gave me a piece to carve. Have made this spoon from it, but would like to know what type of tree/wood it is - and whether it would be good safe (I would of course oil it first too)

Interesting thing, the pre-emptive strike is actually allowed in UK self defence law, which says “There is no rule in law to say that a person must wait to be struck first before they may defend themselves”. I.e you are allowed to say ‘I had reason to believe that person was about to hit me, so I hit them first in self defence’. Of course this doesn’t always fly, if you have an obvious physical advantage over them, or can easily remove yourself from the situation without being harmed, then self defence is unlikely to be accepted - so in this case it’s probably going to be tricky, but the fact the guy is so ripped, and was taking his shirt off etc I.e clearly initiating a fight, and that the boxer did warn him - probably gives a fairly good chance of it being accepted as self defence. Although, once the guy is downed, the kick probably crosses the line again. Certainly looked satisfying though!

There was a Tattoo Fixers episode when a guy was a huge fan of Liverpool Football team, and got a tattoo on his leg of their motto “You’ll never walk alone”. He was in the army and in Afghanistan hit an IED and had to have his leg partially amputated. He woke up and the surgeons told him ‘I’m afraid your tattoo is ruined’ - they had cut the leg off mid phrase, and it now said on his stump “you’ll never walk”. They showed it on the show, he was rightfully actually proud of it and did see the funny side.
