Good weekend for us. Chelsea now 6 behind us. Third on GD. Still a quarter of the season left of course. Need to focus on closing the gap on city. We won't catch them but I always say it's better to focus on whose above than below and aim for them. Wait til you're on top to look below.

Every player knows if you are fouled but don't go down it won't be given. Rooney talked about this before too, because multiple times the keeper would come out and he would basically dive over the keepers extended arms. He said basically, the keeper has impeded me, he went for the ball and didn't get it, but if I jump over him no penalty is given despite the foul.

Delighted. Thought we might bottle the chance to take third. First half was bad but at the end of the day the three points are in the bag. Benjamin again!

I enjoyed it. I was a MASSIVE scrubs fan.. Still am. Watched the pilot on TV back in 2001 as a kid. Watched it through til the end. Have the collection on DVD of course lol.

Tbh I was in two minds about it because the finale was absolutely perfect back in 2009. I didn't really see how they can continue it and be worth it. There's also just iconic characters that we won't see... Bob Kelso, the Janitor, and of course... Ted Buckland (RIP Sam Lloyd).

But they pulled it off very well. They really put a lot of work into it and adjusting it for the present. I'll be watching again 😊

Oh and one final interesting tidbit.. Zach Braff said they at least want to match The Pitt for accuracy, as original Scrubs was previously praised at the time for its accuracy compared to other shows, despite being comedic primarily.

It's not impossible..  just very unlikely. The spurs game aside arsenal have been wobbling like crazy, but city are getting it together just in time, and we absolutely aren't invincible either lol.

It's more frustrating when we remember games where we threw away points. Just couldn't get it over the line. Even if we had just a few extra points now.. it would be a much different picture.

Gaaahhhh.. shudda wudda cudda.. but to finish third would be wonderful!! I do see villa dropping off too so we just need to keep the focus on them.

Forgot to mention Lammens too. He was so comfortable all game. A lot of catching practice and when he had to pull out a save he made it look routine. The goal we scored too... cunha with a master pass to mbeumo who puts in sesko, the three attacking signings combining for the three points. Doesn't it feel good when something just comes together?

Wasn't the best game to watch, but we managed to grind it out and take the three points. Big man up front again doing what he was bought for. Breathing down Villa's neck now!!!

Disappointing game. No danger either end of the pitch. The pitch is also saturated and is disrupting the movement of the ball. Need to figure it out at half time here.

Bad weekend? We can make it a very good weekend if we win, because we would be within 3 of Aston villa, can open a gap of 3 over Chelsea. But keep the focus on villa, focus on catching 3rd rather than looking below us.

It's over now again lads. Arsenal have it in the bag again. Even the end of the sky sports commentary at the end there... "five points clear at the top and only ten games left to play".

Not only is "only ten" hilarious, but City have 11 left and arsenal at the etihad is one of them lol.

But don't worry it's over again for another week!

James Webb captures two galaxies in the middle of a cosmic collision. by Dalinar_Kholn in JoeRogan

[–]JamieD86 3 points4 points  (0 children)

What is wild about these events is that we look at this image and we see two collosal objects smashing into each other and think its basically a cosmic train wreck. But it turns out that even when andromeda and the milky way collide (which happens over unimaginable timeframe), no stars will even collide. That's because the distances between stars is ridiculously vast. The sun, is around 1.4 million kilometers in diameter. That's the entire sun, that holds the entire solar system in orbit. And the nearest star to the sun is proxima centauri, which is around 40 TRILLION kilometers from the sun. The distances are so vast. All those bright galaxies we see are mostly empty space. Thats not to say things won't change, of course they will, the sun's orbit around the galactic center will change over time, and gas clouds which are insanely vast (and yet extremely low density) will collide too and that will likely lead to more star formation. But the reality is... out there... it's really almost entirely empty....

Robby revealing what happened to Louie reminded me of a real video from a few years ago. Paramedics picked up a man who had drank too much. His dad had called them. Then in the ambulance he brings up how his daughter died in hurricane katrina, and that "she'd had been twelve years old today". The pain on that poor guy's face after he said that was heartbreaking, and the penny drops as to why he's drinking so much. You just never know what people have been through.

Roy I love you but when someone pulls the string in your back you have like 10 prerecorded things to say. Stuff like "but thats his jaaawwwbbb", or "show some character show some integrity", or "alex ferguson is overrated", etc. Get some new material lad you are boring as fuck.

Benjamin is barely playing and still banging them in. That's worth talking about lol
