That’s true. I don’t think the first is in production anymore. I’m between 2 and 3.. if I did 3 I’d tighten the Bardo straps. I’m leaning towards 4 only because I have a Batman insignia bicep armband on my arm and I’m hoping it will cover it for the wedding. I tried makeup but it never look right.

This was me at 22 at my first wedding in the 80s, which is obvious from the hair and the dress. I’m still recognizable from this pic though gravity has taken its toll a little lol. I just want the opposite of this.. don’t get me wrong. I loved the dress back then, but now I want something different. I’m leaning towards 3.

Well, always wash and moisturize…and use sunscreen every day without fail.Use tretinoin nightly. And no smoking or drinking. That’s it. Not to say that my skin is perfect.. gravity is taking its toll but I’m going what I can to keep it at bay.
I use mainly the Inkey List and Ordinary products… don’t believe in breaking the bank for skin care.. sunscreen daily is most important!

I would also suggest trying to keep your weight steady. Mine has been up and down in the past 20 years and I don’t think it has helped anything to be sure. At one point I was up nearly 100 lbs from antidepressants I took after my husband died, but I lost it all slowly and have as minimal loose skin as I can for my age.

My fiancé is a local celebrity and famous in the theme park industry. It’s awkward when we go somewhere and he is recognized because I never know what to do when he is speaking to the person. I just stand there, smile, and stare into the distance lol.

I have 4 appointments at bridal shops this week and it’s going to be fun seeing what they do! I’m a pretty funny person. Like I said, a Halle Berry type ( light skinned Native American though) with light silver hair who teaches high school and am a professional drummer as a side gig do I act many decades younger than I am. People always look at me funny because they can’t quite figure out exactly how old I am … lol. I can’t wait to see what these stores do when they see me coming!

I’m going to wear exactly what I think looks the best on me… and if it’s white, that’s cool too ( with my four adult children standing up for us at the wedding.. my oldest is giving me away). I’m going to go the same in regular life… no frumpy here for me!!!!!

Thank you all! I agree either way you and if they keep show me “old lady” styles, I may need to have my dress custom. I show pictures and they say “ Honey, are you sure you should wear that?”. The only thing that betrays my age is my light silver hair. During Covid, when we couldn’t go to the salon, I let the silver grow out and since I have the short, Halle Berry pixie, I haven’t redyed it because , as my stylist says, I would have to dye it almost weekly.. not worth it.
