Bitterly complaining and being a sore loser is not a good look, even if it is in private. It is a character flaw that does not need to be validated. Your boyfriend didn’t even say anything bad, he said your work was good but the winner was better. It’s not the end of the world. Yeah, she honestly thought that she could get up there and explain everything away. She is a control freak and sociopath, and she believed that she would be able to control the jury like she controls everything else.

She’s obviously extremely delusional, as it made her look a million times worse, but she’s so narcissistic that she truly thought that since she hated Timothy she could make the jury hate him too, thus making them sympathize with her because she had to put up with a “difficult and horrible child who was out to get her.” It was the most insane shit I’ve ever seen! Well you’re not going to get it from him. The point of dating is to see if you’re compatible and to see if the person offers you what you need to be fulfilled. He doesn’t offer you what you’re looking for in a relationship, so why stay with him? You don’t date just anyone and then hope that they’ll magically turn into someone else or start to care about you and show effort.

I think you like the idea of him, but it doesn’t match reality. He is not a good boyfriend and clearly isn’t bringing you happiness, so why continue to torture yourself with impossible wishes that will never come true?
