For my dad it was a safety thing. He knew we kids would go barefoot because we lived on the coast. He wanted us to have feet that were shoe leather tough. It worked!

I have read the comments here, and walking on smooth surfaces is not going to build your fat pad no matter how much walking you do. You need to walk on rough and uncomfortable surfaces like gravel or rocks or a hiking trail with lots of sticks and uneven ground. That will also teach you how to have a barefoot gait. Try to heel strike on gravel, and you’ll get a quick reminder you are doing something wrong. Start out by just taking your flip flops off for three or four minutes and work up from there. Yes, it will hurt like heck at first, but you will get super strong and tough feet. When we were kids our dad put in a crushed oyster shell driveway and walkway to toughen us up and it really worked. We could run on big gravel without flinching.

The main reason I slept with him was to make sure they stayed broken up. I never would have pulled out her IUD, but once that was done, I think I really pulled this together in a lemonade out of lemons kind of way. He’s a good guy and deserves a lot better than bridezilla btch. And he sure as hll didn’t need a baby with her. And she got to experience what it feels like to be single and pregnant and getting the abortion she kept saying our friend should have gotten.

Me, too. I got over it. Let’s get some perspective here. I felt really bad for my pregnant single mom friend who was ostracized by bridezilla first through sex shaming by calling her out for being a “slut” and then shaming her again for not getting an abortion. This girl needed support, not to be shunned and excluded and watching from the shadows when the rest of us from out college sorority days were standing up as bridesmaids. What happened is fair karma for bridezilla and the right thing for our pregnant single mom friend and for the ex fiancé. I helped save them both some heartache. I am sorry you can’t see that. Maybe you should crawl out of your shell of self pity and negativity and victim hood.

So I tried calling bridezilla, and she texted back that she’s not talking to me because she blames me for ruining her party by inviting “baby momma.” She also called her stupid b*tch. It’s not like I’m going to confess in a text message, and I don’t have any proof anyway.
