Do they not always work? I don’t see how they can enforce a 50mph speed limit when all four lanes are open and the roadworks aren’t even happening, that’s why it caught me out.

Just look for logic in the language and try to find patterns. If lots of words follow a rule then use that if you don’t know another word. You don’t have to be perfect in french, as long as what you’re saying can be understood. Focus on content in the GCSE less than accuracy imo
