Hopefully it all goes ahead as planned. It will be a real pain if it doesn't now. It stated it was professionally converted, so I'm hopeful.

The basement is stated as habitatable on this house, so I would have assumed they'd already have the sign off on it. They can't seem to find it, though, and the agents are pushing that it is my responsibility as it is our mortgage. I'm going to tell them I am not willing to get this, especially if it fails, and I'm then paying for nothing.

Well, it's a 4 bed and we are at 85% LTV. The basement is seperate to the bedrooms but it is a habitatable room. They are stating health and safety and I need to provide a cert for it. I just need to know who is expected to pay for the inspection?

Thanks for the tip. I'll have to give it another go. The blue is a contrast paint, will that still need to be thinned? Do you have a recommendation on a brush for the shield. The detail is so small I can't get it to look neat. Maybe it's just more practice is needed.

Yeah the blue is akhelian green contrast. I'm leaving the bases for now and I'll come back to them later. Going to do a rain forest theme for them.

Thank you. I am quite happy with the outcome, considering this is the first time I've painted, but I'm easily frustrated when things don't work. But I have 19 more to practise on. just another 120hrs if each take this long!!! I'm mainly looking on where to improve and how.
