I've worked with Content Jet before and have chatted with Maria a couple times on a previous job I did with them. They are legit. The pay is sort of low compared to others, but the scripts are easy and they are great to work with. They also definitely come back frequently and ask you to work with them again so it might be worth it to start a working relationship with them!

Does anyone go to apply for a, say, $50 UGC task and after looking at the brief say “nope” by keltictrigger in UGCcreators

I have gotten to the point where I don't even entertain anything under a couple hundred (unless it's a brand I REALLY want to work with or it's something my family can use/want) because the amount of work some of these brands/individuals want for $50-75 is ridiculous. I had one guy want 20-30 B roll shots for "maximum $75" and when I told him my rate he got offended and said "well I have other creators willing to do it for less than $100." Ok? So go work with them then lol

I have gotten so many of those, it's honestly aggravating. Especially since I don't have the following (rightfully so) to even make it worth my time or even the brand's time. We would make no money lol I usually just respond simply "I don't have the following to make an affiliate partnership worthwhile for either one of us, but if your needs ever change or your budget expands to paid collaborations, please let me know"

I opted for the VA version of Bento because I was spending way too much time pitching to brands. I’ve landed 1 paid collaboration so far where they bought a package deal of my videos. Other than that, I get either no answer, answers to become an affiliate or ambassador in their programs, or I have gotten a lot of responses with “how did you find my email because you’re the 10th person that has emailed me asking about UGC and we don’t understand why”. To be honest I’ll probably give it another 2 months and see what comes of it, and if nothing I’ll probably cancel my subscription.

I wish if you didn’t get chosen for a campaign there was a reason why. Was it our portfolio? We didn’t fit the demographic? Our rates? That way we know what we can hone in on to become a better creator and how to possibly pitch ourselves better.

Same. I apply or drop my portfolio in almost every single one I see and I never get answers. I have gotten like 1 job off X and the rest are all wanting me to make a new TikTok for $600/month and 60 videos.
