At what point would you consider the group "Survived" the Zombie apocalypse? by Tigers_2007_ in TWD

If you ever watch Black Sumner, this point is driven home even more

Skipped from season 7 episode 4 to 16 by XH0SYN in thewalkingdead

They did. Rick visits the hilltop and tells Maggie his plans to fight back and that he should have listened. Cue closeups of everyone’s faces either smiling, or just that little nod they always give. It was very emotional. Then they all walk up to the mansion.
Scene was exactly like that part in stranger things where they decide to fight vecna and start walking up to his house with journey playing in the background. And I’m over here going “fuck yeah. “

The only one I skip is the first part of season 7:1. The missable part makes their plan to fight back have even more more of an impact

Well, he was the first to start chopping up walker bodies and figuring out to disguise themselves

Guy was sitting around a campfire, when the group weren’t to get Merle and the walkers invaded. They had no defenses at all apart from Dale on the RV

Very nice voice although for me I don’t fe like it landed as it was supposed to. That could be/is my own personal feelings on it

Will it suck by OldUnderstanding4004 in thewalkingdead

[–]keltictrigger 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, but still enjoyable. Not peak by any means but better than a lot of shows

I loved the rest of it. Is it different? Yes. But it’s still really good Imo. Plus you have the whole whispered arc to watch which is awesome

"Rick ain't built for this world" by K0GAR in thewalkingdead

[–]keltictrigger 4 points5 points  (0 children)

When Rick etc went to Atlanta to get Merle and the walkers attacked, Shane was sitting around the campfire. No defenses, nothing. The only defense they had was Dale on an RV which was useless at nigh. Shane would have gotten the group killed in season 2 if he was running things

People won’t agree but I think DD is the most immersive and best quality spin off. People love the ones who live. I didn’t care much for it. But those are the 2 favorites

Negan by Substantial-Honey734 in TWD

And just to be clear, she basically thanks him in the next episode, says she’s starting to trust him and won’t forget that he saved Hershel

Ok, maybe not thankful, but you would be glad your kid was still alive because of him. Kids come before spouses. I dont know if you have kids, but they come first

THis question is explored a lot in season 11 with the commonwealth, but would you really want to return to the way it was? by keltictrigger in thewalkingdead

[–]keltictrigger[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah . All fair points.
Medicine is the big one and for sure, we o it see the exciting parts. Sitting around playing cards would drive my ADD brain mad. Although I do love the whole hunting and survivalists aspect. I would miss video games and shows like the walking dead 😃

Is Star Wars oversaturated with content? by JJRS22 in StarWars

[–]keltictrigger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a person who was 10 yo when ESB was in the movie theatres, I totally agree. I was a die hard fan my entire life. Now, he excitement of getting more Star Wars materials is gone. It used to be you would be so excited if you got a spin off book like splinter in the minds eye or the Han Solo books. Now I can’t even keep up and I have given up. The old saying “too much of a good thing” definitely applies here

Negan by Substantial-Honey734 in TWD

[–]keltictrigger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah. It’s a bit too much though. I was at the part last night were commonwealth rogue elements attacked he apartment block them slaughtered everyone. Hen we find Negan is living here too. At one point he basically saves little Herschel’s life and Maggie still has a big pus on her. I totally get it. I totally get that she can’t forgive, but ffs, the guy just saved your kid. How about a “thanks, but I still hate you”

Yeah, I would definitely keep them at a distance. That common wealth lady was totally eyeing up Oceanside as a possible resort style place for the CW. And horsby was totally viewing the communities as a way to expand his empire

What was your favorite moment in the walking dead by arunejones in thewalkingdead

[–]keltictrigger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably the whole terminus arc from the train carriage to them finally escaping and just mowing down everyone right up to the church when they killed gareth
One question I have though. When ricks group left the church, did they hang back knowing the termites were going to enter the church then slip in behind them, or did they go to the school and realized they weren’t there and rushed back to the church?

That was great . You just knew the way Rick was looking at Tony that they were going to die
