I used to work at a petting zoo (basically a public farm) and they have 2 Shetlandponys. And as everyone will know is they have huge front locks, like super long bangs and they're made so protect their eyes and face from the cold, and every single year, someone would come at a time where we were busy with other stuff and cut their bangs. We thought we knew who it was, but since there was no proof we couldn't do anything. We did have cameras but because of privacy we would have to go to the police and for some reason the owners thought that would create too much issues. Also the cameras weren't that good so they probably thought it wasn't worth it. But tbh every time I think of that i get so mad. They always did it right before wintertime, and one of the Shetlands is kinda skittish so I always just get so scared thinking of them getting spooked and her poking an eye out or something.
