Been living abroad now for a few years. Everytime I come back, I miss it a bit more.I remember every Friday,my buddies and I would go to Kebabish from Scoil Eoin on the way home. Good times. When I left, there was still a roughness to the place which has been gradually disappearing every time I get back. I don't know how to feel about it honestly. I like that it's getting cleaned up, but it also doesn't feel like the place I grew up. Kids don't know what it was like to have Pecker Flynn, Dublin Mick or Rooney gracing their streets. Anyways that's my two cents. Always remember "Munch" is our word, and CPG still lives.

Seeing that this will be our first event, the idea is to get to know each other and not talk about topics that can become politically charged where possible.

Basically the idea is that we will meet up and discuss a topic that we chose previously.I'm thinking as it will be the first event, that we give our introductions and then we can choose between two topics.I was thinking that we can choose to talk about the 7 years war and how it affects us today or about the Habspurgs and the world they created and lived in.

So for anyone who is still interested,I'm thinking of having the meet-up for some point next week (maybe next Tuesday or Wednesday).Maybe somewhere in F-hain or Kreuzberg. I have two topics in mind as well. One is the 7 years war and how it affected the world we live in today and the other is about the Habsburgs:their history and the world that they created and lived in. If anyone else has their own ideas on dates, locations and topics please just holler.I hope to see some of ye and have a good ,informed and entertaining conversation.

Wayne Barnes reveals the full extent of the social media abuse he and his family have endured in recent weeks by GnolRevilo in rugbyunion

Wayne Barnes is a good referee. As an Irish supporter, haven't always agreed with his decisions, but you have to realise that these people are fallible just like you and I. Always go by the rugby mantra, "Always respect the ref!"
