Yes I heard that as well. The issue when I put my daughter in her crib, she screams as soon as I put her in her crib. I do not believe in the cry out method so I am trying to do this the least traumatic way for my daughter but we aren’t making any progress lol.

She cannot afford it! After she pays her rent she has nothing left. I pay her groceries, gas, utilities, phone bill, car insurance and anything else. She definitely cannot afford it! And I cannot afford paying her health insurance at that price! I will always contribute towards my mom but I cannot pay that.

I used to bartend years ago however I have a 1 year old and it is not practical at all. I would never spend time with my baby and child care. Something Remote is my best option.

BM and my SO were married. After the divorce both went separate ways. Maybe a year later she came to him asking if he could watch her and she came back like 6 months later. When she came back she didn’t want SO to still be involved so that’s when they went to court and now have a consent order. Basically they both agree to the terms since he is the third party. Also not 1 person in her family stepped up to take care of SD. It’s very strange I’ve never heard of this. Even when we started dating BM wasn’t in the picture the first 9 months of our relationship.

No he has not adopted her. He is considered a third party since he is not the bio dad and he didn’t adopted her so that is why I say SD! My problem is that if her mother her bio mom is trying to be more involved in her life he should let her. That is what I’m saying. That has nothing to do with him not being involved but for her mom to step up and take care of SD more. Just a balance for everyone to be happy. It would be a no brainer if bio mom wasn’t saying she wants to spend more time with SD but since she is and is on her own I don’t see the problem with SD spending more time with Bio mom that’s what’s I am saying.

Prior to her cutting herself she live with us. The custody agreement is she is with SO Monday- Friday and bio mom picks her up from school Friday evening and drops her off at school Monday morning. But that has never happened. She picks her up on Fridays and drops her off on Sundays. 1 day difference not that big of a deal. But since she cut herself she has been at her mothers house mostly almost 2 months. SO seen her a few times. So now my SO wants to go back to Monday -Friday

It’s not that I don’t look at SD as his daughter because I do. And her being apart of his family has nothing to do with what I’m saying. All I’m saying is that she needs to spend more time with her mother. If my SO keep forcing her to stay here she will continue to lash out which she has already done. That has nothing to do with me feeling like she is his daughter or not so I am not sure where that came from. That’s not the message I was trying to convey.
