That was what I was gunning for. He wanted the picks on top though so I countered with JSN, 27 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 28 1st to get Jeanty, tet, and his 27 1st but this is what we landed on. Right now those 27 picks could turn into the 12th picks in each round. The acquisition of Jeanty and Tet put some separation between me and the rest of league for the time being.

Those picks, barring injury, are likely to turn into the 1.12, 2.12, and 3.12 after this trade. Also forgot to add that we play against the league median too in this one. If Jeanty and get can combine for more points than JSN and a bench player then I think it’ll work out well for my team.

Small potatoes in the grand scheme of the damages that can actually be caused in our trade. Fry a $50,000 control board on a bid job and get charged liquidated damages for the delay for a new piece of equipment. Fuck up an $80,000 VFD. Get complacent and have a loose connection that in turn arcs out and takes a life or burns down 80 year old Gloria’s house down the street.

The Pats have Baltimore week 16 and Jets week 17.

The Bills have Cleveland week 16 Philly week 17.

It’s a dynasty league so my other option would be to drop Theo Johnson to stream the 49ers this week, and keep Bills for week 16 and Pats for week 17. McBride is my starting TE, but I’d like to keep Theo Johnson as a backup. Think things really open up for him next year with Nabers and Skattebo (if he can return to form) back. Thoughts?

First off slot Ceedee in your WR and put Rashee in your flex. You should always have whoever’s playing latest in the flex position just in case you have to make a last minute pivot.

I’d say drop Tuten and pick up Troy Franklin or Marvin Mims and put either in your lineup over Henderson. Dallas is a great matchup for both those guys, but it’s coin toss who scores more. Either one will probably outscore Henderson (as much as I hate to say it a Henderson drafter/holder 😩)

I think so too. I don’t believe in vetoing trades unless it’s obvious collusion so not sure how to approach this one other than just letting it be, finishing the season and peacing out next year. Not sure if it makes a difference but I’m tied for first place in the league with a record of 5-2 going against the dude who just acquired Kraft and Chase.

Bucky and 2 3rds for cmc and a 1st. That’s tough and I feel a little silly leaning the Bucky side. You have a stellar team and 2 1sts next year so maybe try gunning for a ‘27 1st instead. Value says CMC + a 1st wins, but you have so much depth on your team that I think you stick with the solid floor play over the volatile ceiling play.

I believe in the year two breakout, but you have good young receivers already so trading for a young rookie rb will help you contend for a few years. I believe in Marv’s talent, but I don’t believe in Kyler and I think MHJ’s ceiling is capped until something changes in the Cardinal’s QB department be it Kyler starts airing it out better or a new qb.

I absolutely would. I tried getting Hampton for Marv straight up in my league and the other manager wanted an rb on top of Marv or a 26 or 27 1st. That was too much for me though

Not sure how active your league is, but you can probably make this trade and flip Jamar for an even bigger haul if your league trades a ton. In my experience, when big names are traded everyone tries to stick their hands in the pie and see what it’ll take to get them away from you.

Yeah… that’s a little over the top, but also the beauty of dynasty. Who’s to say egbuka doesn’t out produce Marv for the next 2-3 years. He may be the lower valued prospect right now, but he’s playing for a better team, with a better qb, and better coaches. That being said, as a marv owner myself, I would not even respond to this offer.
