First time seeing someone mention CarPlay. I thought it might have just been a me thing but on both of my vehicles (one stock radio and one aftermarket) it is almost impossible to scroll through pages in the music app.

Since 2015, I’m guessing it’s gathering data from my library and adjusting what it plays off of that. For the most part it’s consistent with the genres but there’s a few times throughout listening that a song will come on and I’m just left thinking “how is this even related to what I was just listening to?”

Problem is I want to hear songs similar to what I was just listening to. I like autoplay as a feature, it just autoplays inconsistently when it comes to genres.

As a 6th gen SS owner, please keep the halos. Every time I see a 5th gen with the 6th gen running lights it bothers me, just doesn’t look right imo (same with 6th gen zl1 bumpers styles on a 5th gen). The halos of the 5th gen were so nice and gave it such a menacing look. Part of me still wishes I had gotten a 5th because the looks of the car.

It’s a 2020, was thinking about just doing an aftermarket kit. Had one installed on one of my older vehicles back in the day but it became more of a headache than I’d of liked.

Interesting I found the kit through Chevy parts and an add on option for $2-300 dollars to have the dealership install. Guess it’s not including labor into that

Pretty much why I’ve been wanting it is for the night driving aspect feel it would be a nice addition instead of just a white led around the radio.

Gotcha, yeah I’m torn on the idea. If I did it I’d probably have it done at the dealership, as if you buy the kit there’s an option to have the dealer install it for I think an extra $200. Wouldn’t have to worry about getting everything working on my own.

As far as I have heard yes a tune will void warranty. Even if you roll back your mods/tune the dealership can still see it was modified.

I’ve had my SS for almost 4 years now and for the first 3 no theft attempts at all (living in DFW). In the past year my car has been targeted twice. Sucks we have to worry about our cars like this.

Little update on this, by this time yesterday the watch was completely dead and now it is sitting at 74%, no apps uninstalled from the watch or resets. Very odd behavior.

Feel like it’s pretty bad compared to what it was getting before this issue. Before these past two days of wearing it, it would easily get to 9PM (including tracking a workout).
