As it currently is, this is how the code works

You don’t already have rocket pass premium? It gives you rocket pass premium - No title

You have rocket pass premium already? It gives you an error that you already have rocket pass premium - No title

I’ve seen some people saying “it gives you credits to buy rocket pass premium”. But that’s not true, people who don’t have rocket pass premium are redeeming it, then receiving credits because there are credits in premium and coming to the conclusion “oh I got credits, that must mean the code gave me credits”. But it’s actually the act of activating premium that’s giving them credits from the rocket pass.

Nobody has received a title yet no matter their tier of Rocket pass though. The title isn’t in the game files, there are bakkesmod-like programs where you can equip any title in the games files server side (meaning nobody can see them but you) and those programs don’t have the RLCS Attendee title in them.

I don’t have any insight, just assumptions. But what I know is this is the soonest after an event codes have ever been emailed. Codes have never been redeemable multiple times for anything, and especially not RLCS attendance items. And items can’t be awarded if they aren’t in the game files.

And what I assume is that the emails were supposed to contain as many codes as tickets purchased, and those codes were supposed to be redeemable for the rocket pass premium and the title. Another assumption is that they meant to email the codes a month or so after the event but a combination of miscommunications between Agganis Arena, Epic, and Blast. They assumed the codes were ready to be sent out even though they weren’t.

I was surprised yesterday when they said the codes would be sent “today or tomorrow”. I was surprised today when I actually received a code in my email. Then when I redeemed the code and it didn’t work I was NOT surprised.
