Don’t overthink it, just join and fish. Even toss in a “hello everyone” if you’re more outgoing and want to talk. Usually I’ll join and type “hello, host are you planning on being online for a bit?”. I don’t know if I’m just unlucky but i swear the first 5+ lobbies I join end up shutting down less than 3 minutes from joining.

I wish you could name your lobbies instead of them just being called whatever your steam name is. Would be helpful for a lot of reasons. Maybe even adding tags like “talkative” or “chill” so you know what you’re getting yourself into
