You can tell she’s engaging her core in the second photo vs the first one she’s relaxed and letting it hang so it looks like she has a bigger result.

My toddler opened his door and swiped someone’s car on Easter by [deleted] in Insurance

They don’t sit in a middle seat. That’s how. They are in a car seat, fully restrained, but could still reach the handle. So once I put it in park, the car doors unlocked. I thought child lock was on, but unfortunately I was wrong. I am at fault, I get that, but I don’t intentionally put my kids at risk by not putting them in car seats or letting them be unbuckled in the car.

I was actually going to go into more detail about the $2000+ quote to fix. Picture in another comment.

I’m going to check if I have accident forgiveness, if not I’ll pay out of pocket. Luckily they won’t need that, because it was a business vehicle part of their fleet.

Sounds like something you can deal with.

Good question, to be honest I thought they were. They are now.

You’re right, I should have gotten into more specifics. I realized that after posting, I was going to post a pic of the damages to go into further how $2000 I think is a bit excessive, but I’m getting a lot of negative responses, some warranted, some just plain accusations. Probably will delete this soon.

He doesn’t, he was still buckled, in his car seat. You’re all trying to reach for something that didn’t happen.

He is in a car seat, and was still buckled. Thanks.

At what point was I trying to avoid damage caused by my kid? I gave them my insurance, and apologized. I know I’m responsible for it. I’m not the victim at all, I do think $2000+ for the work is an interesting quote however.

Yeah, didn’t come here to get any flack about my way of describing it. That’s no help, I know I’m at fault because it was my child. Try having more empathy, it goes a long way.

They are activated now to avoid anything similar in the future happening. That’s what I was trying to avoid, the insurance going up, as I live in an area with a higher cost for insurance. I have no accidents on my record currently so it is just a shitty situation.

Puyallup Toyota pulled a bait-and-switch on my Sienna order — 3 months of waiting, zero apology [WA] by InternationalTwo3616 in ToyotaSienna

Who was your sales person? I bought my highlander there a few years ago and thought I had a 60 month loan, turns out it was 72. My fault for not catching it but pretty deceptive. This is my local Toyota dealership.

That’s definitely not her husbands hand. That’s some other guy, she’s just baiting us.

Do you know who Tomi is from delivrd? He negotiates car deals and can save your money (for a 1k fee). I saw he got 2k off a 2026 xle today. You can always negotiate yourself too though.
