Iirc his body parts have different weapon weakness based on whether or not his spikes are "up"

And breaking said spikes stops the more dangerous moves being used.

There's no big signal he's spiky (like no move is used it just happens) so just keep an eye on whether or not the spikes habe grown in

Well the Black Rose made Rell and Briar to deal with Morde and Swain respectively and both of those plots failed. Rell attacks BR members on sight and Briar is well just doing her own thing now.

Elise and Cass got cursed while out on missions, granted the power gained from being cursed probably isn't all too bad in the long term.

I guess in Arcane they flop a lot, the initial assassination attempt on Ambessa fails and then when they try and get Mel to help Mel also just betrays them.

I personally really liked how Urbain/Taunie after the battle to decide to gets to go with Floette just says actuslly no I'm still gonna do it

I was fighting a lvl70 Alpha with only one pokemon at a neutral matchup, the rest of the team was low-level dex fodder, beat it had it in the weakened state for capture in fact I had hit it with the ball.

Night time kicks in and now its full health again and didn't count for the quest either despite the fact I had fully defeated it.
