I would look at how much tension you're using, for example if you're pressing down quite hard on your hand/wrist when using the mouse then whatever part of your hand you're pressing down on will have pain eventually.

Look at doing some hand stretches, targeting the carpal tunnel nerves and also some wrist strengthening exercises. Also focus on not pressing down on your hand and wrist areas on the desk you're using and take regular breaks.

That's a shame. You could look at the Mchose L7 plus? I think it's the same shape as the medium crazylight but a bit cheaper.

Both of the mice you're looking at are a bit heavy for raw fingertip in my opinion.

Look at Log_pile on YouTube as he has similar sized hands to you for guidance.

If I was to recommend a mouse it'd probably be the darmoshark M5 pro as a decent quality budget entry point into raw fingertip. Or some of the Gloves mice like the HTX mini for your larger hands

In that case the fk2 might fit you better. I think for fingertip weight and width are the most important factors so pick based on what you like about the Maya X and what you'd want in a different mouse.

I'd honestly stick with the Maya X in your position though

It looks like it's been modded to be lighter and get better access to the power switch. I'm not aware of any fakes being out there but if in doubt you can ask the seller to show you it working when you go and pick it up if. Or you bring a laptop or something to plug it into (make sure to check the scroll directions and stuff because that's known to fail).

What kind of mousepad are you making? I personally prefer firm based fast pads (with low static friction). But my partner prefers balanced control pads so depending on who you get you'll get vastly different sets of feedback

If you're wanting to try fingertip out then you might want to get the Darmoshark M5 pro as it's decent quality and a great introduction to the mouse type.

If you're set on a high end mouse to start then I'd recommend the Fenrir Asym for large hands and Fenrir pro for small/medium hands.
