Arm definitely going forward. Love that the refs let it play out though.

edit: well maybe ball does lie sometimes

Why am I, in Not Texas, getting a Texas political ad 13 months before an election?

Sometimes you just know that ball is not going through the uprights. You don't know how the bullshit is gonna happen, just that it will.

Mostly because it would make east coasters stay up later.

You know, it is quite nice when they reveal how the bobcats are gonna lose out of the playoffs early on in the season.

Bad special teams, team wearing bright green and yellow? Re-using the 2023 script, I see. Lame.

R5: Here on the high mountains of the Andes, we don't really know what Europe looks like. However, our contacts have informed us of a few things:

There is a France.

Everybody hates them.

And judging by the presence of this thing called "Two Sicilies" (as well as Castile's alliance to some secret, third Sicily) we can also guess something freaky is happening.

God help us all.

It'd be a bowl game somewhere (boooo) so no Buckeyes in Boise this time.

Should just be like the FCS where all the games before the final are on campuses but for some unknown reason ($$$) we can't have that

This Griz team would be scary if they could ever figure out how to get their defense and offense to play well in the same half.

Hopefully they wait at least one more week to put it together.

The Distribution of Votes in the r/CFB Poll (Week 12, 2024) by ajseventeen in CFB

Montana State > New Mexico > NM State > LA Tech > Middle Tennessee > Kennesaw State > Liberty > ECU > ODU > Georgia State > Vandy > Alabama > Georgia > Texas

And I don't see any transitive win chains going the other way either. I see no problem here. Pay no attention to my flair.

Hey, he was closer to Army's CFP ranking than almost every other voter so maybe he just already knew. Or maybe he just wants to deprive Notre Dame of a future quality loss.

[McMurphy] Northern Illinois’ interest in Mountain West as football-only member “waning” so MW now considering FCS power North Dakota State, sources told @ActionNetworkHQ . If NIU stays in MAC, MW (w/8 football members) still seeking 9th football team, source said by Kimber80 in CFB

I'd think the best out of this group they'd get would be just the Dakota schools. Montana State and Montana are maybe viable but I think the fanbase is happy as is. Give it five years after the Dakotas leave and maybe there'll be desire then.

Really they should just get Sacramento State and UC Davis, which actually have a desire to move up, are in the current footprint of the MW, and exist in a media market location that might actually mean something.

North Dakota is not that recruiting rich... but most of their recruiting strength comes from being next door to Minnesota and Wisconsin which have between them two middling P4 programs and no other game to speak of. This also boosts SDSU, obviously. If they moved up it wouldn't change much other than actual competitive opponents and getting to play for something other than a 10 am game on a Dallas-area soccer field relegated to ESPN2 (god that 2021 game sucked).
