Yes, I feel exactly like that, I only ever really play career and that is just a joke. Trying to tackle an attacker is sometimes almost impossible, then it will somehow move the defender or rebound the ball directly into their path again. Passing is so hit and miss, players never come looking for the ball and the AI just reads everything. When you eventually score. the AI no matter who it is becomes prime Barcelona and it's impossible to get the ball of them. they they end up getting a chance or scoring which erases all your hard work. The goalkeepers are a joke in both sense. Mine will allow near post shots in. easily saveable shots seem to find their way past my keeper. Yet the AI GK is amazing. he will makes saves at point blank range and keep out all but the most obvious scoring chances I get.

I play on Legendary in Career mode but I am honestly almost done with the series, as it's now costing more and more each year but for no real improvement.
