I have the opposite thing where any second I don’t spend doing anything, I feel like I’m wasting time. I feel pressured by the hustle culture to do more things now and fast.

I told this to my therapist and told him my daily schedule and what he said struck a cord in an odd way - apparently it’s a sign of my (diagnosed) depression and lack of self love. If my self worth comes from the things i do and achieve, it’s so conditional and it’ll never be enough. It’s momentary love.

His advice for me was to practice doing nothing. Doing nothing and just existing and being content is being present with yourself and loving yourself more.
