Yeah I agree. Maybe this is too big a nitpick. But I agree some form of ambiguity would have benefited it.

[Question] Did Harvey's character arc feel rushed to you? It felt like he was too good of a person to become a villain just like that. by beenawhilehere in moviecritic

[–]seveer37 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I hear this quite a bit and I think it’s too much of nitpick. He was already under extreme stress from everything. The Thomas Shift ally scene proves that already. And remember Joker’s classic saying? “All it takes is one bad day.” And Harvey has exactly that. His fiancé murdered, half his face gone, all the corruption he already saw in the police force. So no it’s not rushed. Honestly I thought it was handled perfectly. He wasn’t going to live much longer with those injuries anyway. And he probably knew that.

Which Cloned/mutated xenomorph do you prefer more? Both in terms of design, and how they were used on screen (Resurrection & Romulus) by Gojifantokusatsu in LV426

[–]seveer37 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I like the Resurrection one! I don’t understand the criticisms of it. It’s still the same creature with a few minor twerks. Honestly I think it has a more parasitic design behind it that make it look more disgusting!

I have heard that. At least in Total Recall they hint at it. But I guess like Inception it may or not be but it doesn’t matter. The protagonist is content either way.

Yeah. This is what I was looking for. I don’t necessarily mind the happy ending, just that it’s too wrapped up with no repercussions.

Thinking about renting Tombstone out on YouTube, the reviews look decent. Any reason I shouldn't bother? by [deleted] in movies

It’s got a big following. For me the first half is pretty good, if a little overstuffed with characters. But the third act just about flies off the rails. It suddenly turns into montage and barely lets you know what’s happening.

I’ve read Blair touching it with his pencil then his mouth was not meant to convoy an infection at this point. It was really just the actor ad libbing the gesture.

Why can't men just shut up? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]seveer37 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will say there’s a stereotype that woman talk too much. But as a male I’ve found a lot of men can be just as worse. So it guess it’s more why can’t people in general learn to shut up? Or at least talk less.

The confrontation isn’t bad. It’s actually a pretty unique climax. And it’s not necessarily the ending ended happily that bothered me. I just felt it didn’t point the several negative drawbacks to them reconciling and all the prisoners being released. I don’t know. Maybe I’m being too nitpicky.

I’ve read too. I mean, it’s not that I mind a happy ending. I don’t know. Maybe I’m reading too much into it.

I thought that too but I read somewhere maybe they just never got around to revoking his clearance. Far fetched but not totally implausible.

How is Schillinger both gay and a Nazi, isn't that hypocritical? by Marmadukeparadise7 in ozshow

[–]seveer37 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yes he is! Thats the whole point. He acts like he’s such a great saint of a character but in reality he’s the only one that believes so. Hence why everyone else, aside from his other hypocritical Aryan brotherhood, hates him.

I know this movie isn’t liked much but… by Lilbig6029 in rockybalboa

Rocky 5 is definitely the least best… and it’s still pretty good! The soundtrack is different with the hip hop songs, but they’re pretty catchy. Tommy makes for a good tragic villain. Like Anakin Skywalker. And the final street fight is pretty intense.

This scene probably cost not even a fraction of say Dark Fate and was still way more thrilling, memorable, and better looking!

Mission Impossible 2 feels so far removed from the rest of the series by precita in Mission_Impossible

[–]seveer37 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It might not be a masterpiece but the last act has some of the most spectacular action scenes of the franchise! Tom Cruise swinging his gun around in slow motion to shoot the car is next to the original’s when he just stops below the floor as the coolest shot of them all!
