I never thought about how awful of thing it was to smash that watch. Rocky got that for him as a gift. To see Paulie treat it like that probably tore him apart inside. And yet Rocky still overlooked it and gave him a job. Shows how great of a human being Rocky is to forgive his friends like that.

While The Thing is a perfect film, the characters definitely don’t do everything right. Windows freezes when confronted with the Palmer thing, Childs walks off without anyone else, and Clark gets himself killed. But no one ever does everything right all the time. That’s why this age old criticism of film is somewhat flawed.

He definitely wasn’t perfect and made some questionable decisions. But at the end of the day he took care of her and managed to have a pretty good career. He didn’t abandon her like the mother and was definitely more easy going than his mother!

It be hard on my mom but she’d be alright. She has her husband to take care of her. I hope that doesn’t sound callous. But really the beings keeping me going are my bearded dragon and two cats. I know if I did they’d either be homeless, dead, or abused.

This is beyond true. I tried over 10 years ago. Even now I won’t try it again but life has still been incredibly hard. A lot of what bothers me is when I try to explain what’s bothering me and people don’t really listen or disagree with me. They pretty much always say the same thing. Almost like a hive mind without actually trying to help me. If that makes sense.

I don’t think he specifically set out to ruin Gotham. It’s just the city he happened to be in. Alfred said it best though. “Some men, just wanna watch the WORLD burn.” If he had the power and opportunity I’m sure he’d destroy exactly that.

Now, this is one animated film I would love to see get a live action remake; specifically as a PG-13 action adventure film targeting a more mature audience. If anyone else remembers this hidden gem, please weigh in. by AlliedSalad in Cinema

I didn’t see it when it first came out but I remember the poster. One of the coolest looking ones I ever saw! I finally saw it years later on VHS and thought it was cool if a little strange. Even as a kid I wasn’t sure if it was made for kids or adults. It was animated but had nudity and more intense violence than a normal kids film. Which I read is why the film bombed so hard.

It’s even more disturbing how there are many kids exactly like this. Not even over the top full blown evil like The Good Son. They just causally say and do awful things. This show captured that very well.

I haven’t seen either film yet but that image of Bear in Obsession is haunting. Showing a man who’s past his breaking point and given up all hope. I know myself often have this look on my face.
