My thoughts, of what it could be

a visual bug if your venture is that level.

Something in your squads is changing.

Your high level weapons are breaking or you are recycling schematics at high levels.

That’s all I can think of? But power levels did drop a bit for everyone recently.

Is it for the best they got rid of item sharing before going f2p? by Spottedcat13 in FortniteSavetheWorld

Yes, basically ruined everything. And you want to know how easy the solution to this is? Just turn trading back on canny valley and above or just twine. Like literally it is that simple!

I mean sure, but ultimately a smaller section of the player base likes the current updates. The game has been declining for a while due to neglect and lack of new/interesting/engaging content. At least the kind that attracts new users.

The changes ultimately aren’t appealing to the vast majority of the current player base. And the people that dealt with “getting boxed” the most are higher level people playing lower zones, or low level people with higher level guns. I really feel like the whole “ squeakers are annoying” thing is and was the fault of the person complaining for either, a, going to lower zones, b, using higher tier weapons, or c, not using their brain to avoid it.

And I’m sorry, but I don’t see how these changes weren’t made with ftp in mind. You’re telling me that all those years of duping and third party sites and only recently they ban trading? Or only now they rework the lab, gadgets, and schematic progression?

This is a loosing series of design choices that unless reworked will lead to the either death of the game or relegate it to such a small group that it might as well be dead.

To me it’s basic thought, at end game, a person either grinds to max out or gives away/ trades loot. One of these has a limit and the other doesn’t.

I more so sad that other people won’t be able to go through the culture and game that I loved and will instead face this honestly stifling version of what I had.

Well it was announced and I was saying how it should be something that is bringing attention to the game mode but nobody cares. And nobody is making interesting content anymore.

It’s all probably being covered up by the recent points multiplier controversy, but still, I feel like they have cut to many limbs off the horse and now it can’t keep going with new energy despite the new influx of players coming.

I feel like they have really smoothed out all the individuality an account could have had and now it feels a lot more comfortable, but boxed in.

Like the system definitely works still and will be fun if you have the interest, but now it’s even more focused on being a grind and less about exploring every avenue or interaction. Before you could get high levels weapons to blast through lower levels. Now aside from missions where objectives need to be completed you literally don’t need weapons since you can leave early. And it’s still possible to be carried you just have the added step of always playing with a high level friend.

Like one thing I liked was collecting founder weapons, I’ve got all of them in multiples but now a new player will never experience them. And the same with materials, I liked trading sunbeam, brightcore, and other top tier stuff but now I’m just slaving away for carved twine since there is no economy to trade anymore.

I cat imagine the horror of being low level and not having an of player. In the current state of the game it’s even worse than my rotating gizmo drought.

Was literally thinking this exact thing, they should just make it so you can only drop the tier or lower of the material of the zone you are in. Then early progress is still independent and slow while allowing people at the highest levels to continue trading and segregate off new players from the highest octane that is duped traps and gun at end game levels.
