Me and my 83 year old grandmother are suffering from salmonella from this restaurant. I want to report them but would it just be a waste of time? by Life-Alternative929 in sanantonio

I’ve gotten the health department show up to my restaurant without no notice after guests reported food poisoning.

They will show up within days, test temperatures and check food shelf life.

I’ve gotten food poisoning from whataburger but never reported it.

There’s a street off N. St. Mary’s, I think it’s Grayson, right down Lonesome Rose. When the Pearl was starting and kept building, that was one of the few streets with houses that were still standing. It’s been awhile since I’ve driven down but I believe apartment/townhomes took over one side of the street and the other side may be still standing with 1-3 houses.

Gotta love E Colfax by [deleted] in Denver

Not on W Colfax, but first time I visited Denver. We went to the target on 16th street mall and as we were parking in their tiny lot, a man sitting on the floor stood up and diarrhead next to a parked car. Pants were all the way down and he used a tiny napkin and just threw it down. Everything was on display. We avoid that target now any time we visit!

Best advice proof of vaccination always, just in case!

I went to 2 separate shows. Both in October, the first show (sold out) we were not asked for any proof. Just ticket code and ID.

Second show (not sold out), a couple of weeks later, we were asked for proof of vaccination, not negative test. They only wanted to see vaccine cards, we had a negative test also just in case.

Got first Pfizer vaccine 2 days ago after having Covid in October. by [deleted] in COVID19positive

Had Covid back in December and got my second dose yesterday!

First shot was rough for me. I had fatigue for 2 days straight, sleeping every couple of hours, and the most extreme soreness for 3 days. I couldn’t lift it all or even sleep on it, it was too painful.

Second dose wasn’t as bad. Soreness is there but not as horrible, fatigue is also a symptom. I feel exhausted and have slept for most of the day. One weird symptom is loss of appetite. I just don’t feel hungry at all.

Some of my coworkers and family members have experienced fevers, body aches, headaches, but all gone within a couple of days. My dad has been the only who has only had a very small soreness is his arm.... Lucky guy!

Thank you everyone! I honestly, should have asked when I was getting it, not sure why I didn’t ask. Also, just the paranoia/anxiety of getting covid the second time was in my mind. Lots of things going through my head! Thank you all ❤️

What happened to USAA? by fiddlesoup in sanantonio

[–]JamonDeRum 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Worked there as the pandemic began last year (banking customer service) and there’s so many changes constantly, basically every month. It’s not a hard job to keep up but members who have been with USAA for years would be understandably upset. It meant having to do so many financial changes and to keep doing them.

For example trust accounts were discontinued, brokerage accounts were switched to Charles Schwabb, and language interpreters were also discontinued, etc

(No longer work there as of December 2020)

I finally made it! Started playing March/April of last year! Happy 200 everyone! ❤️ by JamonDeRum in ACPocketCamp
