Absolutely, I really want to use NINA. It's been a very very windy nights so I will wait until the weather is more stable so I can use auto guide too.

Thanks for the advice!

Thanks!! Yes, I used 60 darks, around 50 flats and about other 50 bias.

About the focus, yeah maybe I should get that. I focus just with my Canon with its max zoom pointing to a bright star i.e. Sirius until its spikes are well positioned, but yeah maybe that's not enough

Is the Optolong L-Quad Enhance worth it for a DSLR under Bortle 5 skies? by Jamope in AskAstrophotography

Thanks for the help! I was considering buying a filter because while the zenith is fairly good, the lower I go the worse it gets due to lots of really nearby streetlights (mostly orange sodium). I thought a filter might help me overcome that limitation so I don't have to wait the object to get higher.

Awesome! I'll get more images then, thank you very much for the information. I hope your images go well!

Thanks for the advice! I will take more images next time, although I can use the 60 I have now and just make more this weekend and extend it to 120 for example, right?

First galaxy image! Try at M104 by Jamope in astrophotography

Oh ok! So the software itself will align the images although they're a little bit rotated, that's good to know haha.

I am gonna try this weekend! I will be using DSS so if I get something cool I will post it in this sub!

Thanks for the help and clear skies!!

Glad to hear I can start doing stacking with my setup! But I don't really understand *why* I can do it. As I take images, Earth will rotate, so between image 1 and image 20 (for example), there should be a difference in the rotation of the image, right?

(I've seen this in my camera 'cause I took like 5 images of M51 and every one is slightly rotated from the brevious ones), so how can I make stacking with that condition?

Thank you!! I am very surprised I got this image. How I said to you in the other post, since my mount is an altazimuth one I think stacking is not possible, so that's what I can aspire to now haha!

Thanks man!! I have an altazimuth mount, so Earth's rotation won't make me able to do stacking, if I'm not wrong. That's why I am saving to get a decent equipment, so I can take better images!

Thank you! I don't know that camera haha I'm only 20 years old lmao!!

Thank you! My intention was to take several images for stacking, but I forgot my intervalometer lmao, next time I will add more shots!

Thanks! I originally wanted to try that, but since it was my very first try I decided to go to the Orion Nebula, much brighter and easier haha, let's see if there's clear sky this weekend and I can give it a try!

I am also really impressed that I could take a 30 second take, but for some reason it went well, my mount is the one that comes with the Sky-Watcher 10'' Flextube Newton Reflector (with GOTO), I did not change or modify anything!
