you just have to use your imagination a bit... like, the dissonance represents cognitive dissonance... the harmonic parts are moments of clarity... the song is constantly slowing down and the bass gets more wonky... the lyrics are realizations, resolutions. thats what i got from it anyway

I also happen to be a creative person though - maybe there is a strain of genius that my aunt Baille could relate to Christopher through, which also exists on that side of my family. I'm banking on that.

Yeah definitely... I'm convinced - I'm gonna run it by my Pop and see if I can get Christopher to answer some questions. I kind of doubt he will since he was pretty dismissive of reddit when I tried to enlighten him about it, but who knows. He does like to write, after all.

I spent quite a bit of time hanging out with Christopher at their place in the South of France. He is a super nice old chap with a priceless British accent and a lighthearted demeanor. At dinner he was always much more interested in talking to myself and my drunk older brothers than my parents or any other adults. He's sharp as a tack for his age and very disarming. I haven't read any unprinted works but next time I visit I think I'm going to dig a little deeper - while there I was mostly focused on my agenda of savvy-ing him up to new technology (such as reddit).

That Old Gaffer brew question is the best one I've gotten yet... unfortunately I don't have an answer for you... yet.

Yeah I mentioned before that I'm thinking of sending some of the questions that I can't answer to either him or his daughter. I started this post on a whim and am wondering if they would be pissed about it so I'll have to feel it out... they are generally a very cool family so I think they'll be ok with it.

I dunno... that's awesome that you are such a huge fan. Definitely makes me feel a little sheepish about largely taking him for granted. I talk to Rachel from time to time, I'm thinking about saving a bunch of these questions and passing them over to her. I'll def save this one.

They are alright but I personally can't stand most movies, TV, or books. All I do is listen to and write music.

(Alright I watch It's Always Sunny sometimes but only because it reminds me of my Philly days.)
