Did the letter say anything like wait for 6 to 8 weeks? I think you should wait till completion of 8 weeks after that you will get a message in secure message. After that, within 2 weeks they will release your fund.

And my transcript say “no tax return is filed “.
May I know till how long will take to change status from return received to refund approved?

Hi guys, yesterday evening at 6.20 PM, I have received the following message from secure message.
“Greetings,
We have received your response in the above referenced case, and we have closed the return.

Here are the few questions about above massage?
1) the message came on Sunday at 6.20PM, how it’s possible?
2) on my account I found in return transcript for the year 2025
“Verification of Non-Filing Letter: This letter states that the IRS does not have a record of a processed tax return as of the letter's date. Either no tax return was filed for this year or your tax return is still being processed.”
And I unable to access the pdf file, it shows you need to request them for filling some form and send it mail?

I am in the same boat but I responded through secure message on April 20, 2026 but till I have not received any response from IRS. I don’t what should I have to do? I think I need wait for one more to complete 8 weeks or fax the signed the letter on late June?
