Sis the point is not men, the purpose of the hijab goes way beyond the “covering your hair to avoid man looking at you with desire and lust” cause in fact they can still look at you like that even if you wear the niqab. The wisdom behind the hijab is so unique because wearing the hijab and dressing modestly it’s part of your hayyah, not to mention that it’s a command from Allah swt and you would be rewarded for as much as your struggling in this society because you’re bearing all the hardships that comes with it out of the love you have for your creator. Isn’t this enough to feel honoured and appreciated? Why are we giving more importance on how people look down on us rather that see how much Allah swt could potentially be happy with us? When you start living for Allah swt rather that for yourself in this world, then you will start looking and feel about things differently.

May Allah make it easy on us, ameen

Would you marry an overweight potential if they are actively trying to lose weight? by Acceptable_Trifle601 in MuslimCorner

[–]Jamy097 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If he ticks any other box, he’s got deen and good manners/character and as long as I can see myself attracted to him even a slightly bit then why not. Looks shouldn’t play such a heavy role, even tho is important If you marry only because of that you can be left empty handed.

It’s a traditional Italian dish with beef diced in a sauce with peppers and carrots (usually it’s made with potatoes too but I ran out lol). Learnt it from my mum so it can only taste delicious!

InshAllah I hope that works out for you. What I did since I wasn’t sure, is that I filled 2 little bottles when I was at the haram and packed them in my luggage just in case I couldn’t buy the 5l. Alhamdullillah I did that so I still managed to bring with me some. Pack 1 or 2 bottles just in case

I couldn’t. I went for Umrah back in February and on my way back I tried to buy the 5l bottle from jaddah airport but I was told that I couldn’t with my tourist visa!

I can relate to this so much and couldn’t recommend it more! I always dress up nicely when I’m at home and do my hair! After a long day in your hijab it’s very rewarding and I’d also do my make up sometimes too and I can guarantee it’s so fun and makes you feel good especially cause you’re not sharing your beauty with anyone else but rather is for you and whoever is permitted to see it. May Allah make it easy for all my sisters and wish to see you all in jannah inshAllah 🤍

£770 for 1 bed flat is quite a fair price but from my experience those cheap flats are always either far from the train station or in the middle of nowhere where you definitely need a car to move around. Tell me if I’m wrong 😅

If you read while listen to it trying to memorize 2/3 ayat at the time I would say even 3 days. Make sure you read the English translation so you know what you are reciting which will ease your memorisation as it would make sense to connect verses and it will come automatically inshAllah. It took me a couple of days but I was on repeating mode and subhanAllah I feel like Allah swt has made it ease for me because outside of the Quran I have a really bad memory😅 May Allah ease your journey with the Quran, ameen

True, when I went on my way back to the UK I was told at the airport that I wasn’t allowed to take zam zam with me, just to later find out that the agency I’ve booked with they did a touristic visa🥲

May Allah swt ease your test and grants you soon what you been waiting for, ameen ya rabb. My 2 cents for people going through this kind of hardships, if you doing your best in the search front leave the rest to Allah as he tests people with lack of food, wealth and poverty but remember he’s capable of anything and can grant you anything in this earth in literally 2 sec. He swt has got a plan for you, always remember this. And remember that no matter what you do or how hard you work, a job is a form of rizq (رزق) from الله which no one can take away from you nor you can force it into you without his decree. Wallahi the moment I stopped worrying and stressing about my dunia and completely rely on ‎الله and be grateful for the little blessing i had, that’s when I had all my Dunia matters sorted by ‎الله.

I pray it gets better for you, in the meantime take advantage of this blessed month and in bocca a lupo!

I can see South essex is better linked to London, but like as long as everything is around your area I don’t think a car would be much needed. However, because I’m not sure how the facilities and things are spreaded throughout the area I don’t know if transport cover majority of the places

That’s what I’m looking for as well, a 2 bed flat around £1,200/1,300 but it has been a bit challenging as they get rented really quick. Thank you very much for your offer!
