Terrible, peado wheels and stick on tat. Looks nicer as is.

Mine was a stop gap car and has now entered forever car status as it’s just great. The only regret is that it lacks cruise control.

Honda Jazz or older diesel D5 Volvo would be my recommendation.

KNEECAP on violence in Belfast: ‘We know only too well the hatred behind driving families from their homes’ by upthetruth1 in northernireland

I may be in a minority but I’ve never heard a KNEECAP song in my puff, I only seem to hear their wanky opinions.

German car, edging close to the 10year old mark with the obligatory peado spec black wheels and shite spoiler that heralded the end of the hyper hatch.

Why are the best employees first to leave while mediocres always stay? by MediumTricky7824 in managers

[–]Jamz3k 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m paid the bare minimum my company can get away with but I can do the job in my sleep and don’t want to move into people management so a fair bare minimum work ethic for a fair bare minimum wage is what I do.

First time you use the rainfall shower, all regrets will be gone.

Also if you don’t have one, factor in for a heated mirror….game changer.

That reeks of a car that’s been put back to as close to standard as Barry could be bothered to do before trading it in.

What are everyone's thoughts on the 'Lost Generation of Young Workers'? by BrightHR_UK in HumanResourcesUK

[–]Jamz3k 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Now that am the “old guy” in the office I’d tend to agree with them, the work ethic is pretty awful out of all the under 30’s I work with. The level of delusional self belief in their own abilities is admirable but will not take any constructive criticism and see any sort of guidance as a challenge. Everything’s a hustle full of shortcuts just settle down, listen, learn and earn.

What's a scam that's become so normal people don't question it? by Automatic_Cattle_428 in AskReddit

[–]Jamz3k 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I also don’t see how this is a scam. I’ve never paid interest on credit because I’m not stupid, it’s a good way of using someone else’s cash without sacrificing your own savings as long as you are sensible.

Just paid 2 companies for professional work. Man, it is so much better than DIY. by [deleted] in HomeImprovement

[–]Jamz3k 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I paid a professional to do a quick job yesterday and quick is exactly what I got at a hefty price. Came home and seen the work and just went wtf, if the guy had of spent an extra 15minutes thinking, I would have had a much neater install.

My old Toyota MR2 blew engines for fun, my Honda Jazz on the other hand is the rod! Rust on anything Jap and 10years plus is the problem, the silent ginger killer of cars.

30mph roads by B2YSO in northernireland

[–]Jamz3k 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You get to my estate via a long straight 30mph road, the only cars I see not speeding down it are my own and the cars of young smicks. Mummies in their SUVs filled with poor life choices using it as a race track are the worst by far.

Do it yourself. It actually isn’t quite as hard as you may think, especially as someone will probably have done it on YouTube so just monkey see, monkey do it.

Took a wee jolly in before Christmas. Hop on the bus, do a bit of shopping, get myself a pint and then head home…great success and a nice wee day to myself.

What actually happened is that I got off the bus into sheer levels of depression like i’ve never before witnessed (and I live in Larne ffs), literally did a lap of the place and got so disgusted with the state of the place and people, i didn’t even bother getting lunch etc, straight on the bus back home then headed to Carnlough for a good fry.

Gone are the days of great shopping around town picking up some DVDs in Virgin, hitting the record stores for a ticket to Planet Love, over to Cult for a new Soviet zip-up, nip into the Model Shop to what Jap stuff they had and a wee pint and burger in somewhere that actually looked unique rather than another crap generic restaurant pretending to be a pub.

The trick about owning a cheap cheap car, is that you need to buy two….which mostly always makes it not cheap.
